  1. Lot's (most?) of tech companies won't ship directly to APO/FPO. I applaud your conviction if you don't buy from Apple, Wal-Mart, Amazon, HP, Microsoft, etc. I think this is where I differ from the Android owning iPhone haters (and the iPhone fanboys . . . for that matter). I can easily see myself switching to an Android phone. When my contract is up (next spring) I'll start shopping and see which phone that I like the best. If it's an iPhone, again: awesome. If it's an Android phone: awesome. What I won't do is make statements about how I would NEVER EVER EVER buy those super crappy stupid Android phones or how I hate how people think the iPhone is so great when it's like . . . totally the worst phone ever made. Like I said earlier: go try them out. Hold it. Check your email. Make a call. Text a friend. Browse the internet. Go with whatever phone does those things best. I agree that people should try them out before deciding.
  2. They are sitting alright in their group so far, the home and away in early September is huge. The fact that they missed the Olympics sucks, but once you branch out and watch some other nations you see just how poor the US is on the world stage. I think the popularity is growing, but it will take years for the younger kids in soccer hotbeds to move through the ranks. By the way Omaha/Nebraska is quickly becoming a big state on the national soccer scene. Prep, South and Grand Island are three legit programs spitting out good talent. Creighton is one of the top soccer programs in the country. On the Euro Cup I am picking Germany. Talent across the board and some of the other contenders seem to be out of sorts so far. I agree about US Soccer and trust me I know the programs there are picking up. I lived around Seattle before I moved here. If you get a chance, go watch the Sounders. It's about as close to a soccer crowd as you can get compared to Europe. I watched them loose to FC Barcelona in 2008. Messi was awesome to watch live though.
  3. there was no sarcasm in me saying it wasnt a knock on queensberry and people repost crap all the time its for people that only have 14 posts like you so if you dont see it on one or havent quite figured it out yet you will see it one place or another Just because I don't post that much doesn't mean I don't read the board or can't put any input into it............ ughhhhhh The very least you could do is look at the tab on your browser and spell the kids name right. Is it that hard?
  4. Not impressed about Quessenberry getting decleated due to him being out of place. It happens all the time even to the greats. You are making your post seem like you wouldn't want someone like him on the team even though we are still recruiting him because he got decleated. I think Quessenberry would be a good add to this class. I don't believe the video should be on two posts. If you follow the board, like I believe most people do, one time should be sufficient.
  5. Not impressed. He was caught out of position and I think the drill might have been different in pads. If I am an O-lineman in a drill meant for D-linemen I am not going to go all out and risk getting hurt.
  6. Me and my wife have only owned nothing but Android phones. I have never experienced any crashing in the phone's OS system. I wouldn't change to an iphone for anything. I mean heck apple doesn't even ship to our men and women overseas. I can't seem to bring myself to own one because of that one simple reason.
  7. Here is the Sky link if you want to follow it live. http://www.skysports.com/
  8. I live in Italy(plenty of serie a and b on tv) and all that is on Sky(cable network) is the Euro 2012 right now. US soccer missed the Olympics and I wouldn't be surprised if they missed the World Cup in 2014.
  9. I like the brawl of the wild Montana vs Montana State
  10. Are those other schools raising money at worship services in the name of Christianity? Just curious about that part I guess. It seems like that's a quite relevant little detail that you're conveniently omitting. If you're truly wondering, yes. I am upset when high schools build ridiculous athletic facilities while academic spending stagnates. My turn. Where is the limit for you? Is there some point where you would say "OK. They should have spent that money in a more Christian fashion"? Or do you blindly defer to church authority? Does a 10 million dollar church with 80 foot ceilings and imported exposed wooden beams and gold inlaid floor tiles allow you to worship Christ more effectively? (This is the type of thing that I'm talking about: http://abcnews.go.co...84#.T1-5bWLP2RM ) Funny you should mention this. I am currently living in Italy. The Vatican Bank, which is inside Vatican City, faces money laundering charges over here as well. http://www.examiner.com/atheism-in-philadelphia/vatican-bank-faces-money-laundering-charges I am not surprised their money is going everywhere any Catholic church can hide it. Mainly it is due to a new law in Italy that states any transaction over 1000 euro must be done electronically because the government here is cracking down on tax evaders. http://www.stripes.com/news/italy-transactions-exceeding-1-000-euros-must-be-electronic-1.165892. My guess is it is because of the European Union has almost fallen apart and Italy took a big hit when it did. The church over here could practically pay for the Italians to be in good standing order in the world but doesn't want to face taxes here.

  12. that tie is more scarlet then cardinal!
  13. Since JoPa has been let go, we are in trouble in Happy Valley. The players will pour their hearts out for tHeir coach. I love the skers but I expect a loss there... I am sorry for saying this but I am trying to be a realist.
