I'm betting we see some / several formations with McCaffery and Martinez on the field at the same time, with possibilities of diamond formations in the backfield, direct snaps. McCaffery as QB, AM in the slot, etc. I hope so anyway. See something to mix things up. Of course, if it works, they'll all be heroes. If it doesn't work, the "why did they feel the need to get so cute" buzzards will circle immediately.

Sort of the context of my comment earlier. An early glass of koolaid gave me visions of our offense actually looking like Scott wants it to look...fast, efficient and explosive and our defense being quick to the spot and sure tackling. I'd relish seeing that vs the Herky-jerks looking like a stereotypical slow, slogging BIG team.

Would it be hard to just hope he gets better? Or perhaps recovers fully from some injuries unknown to us street people? You speak pretty harshly for a bystander that is not involved in the day to day work being done. I personally hope Milton and McCaffrey are absolutely amazing and the Martinez improves enough in all areas to beat both of them out.

Get him on the field for several series, and run the hurry up so they can't substitute on defense. He could line up at WR on one play, QB the next, take a wildcat snap, etc, etc. Would be a defensive challenge for sure.

First time since when??? That we have at least two quarterbacks that can handle the task. Lots of young guys looking ok today. I know it is after the twerps are worn down, but nice to see.
