  1. I think demolish upper east deck (good) and replace with new Academics area
  2. Beats me. FAA warning: minimum altitude in pregame flyover event
  3. You need to drag oxygen tank and high powered binocular . East upper deck seats was way too high. I ventured OU upper deck stadium, similar to Memorial ..... literally ants and I can't read player's numbers !! Best solution, cover tarp in east upper deck seats
  4. Michigan football eager for first road trip of 2023 season Special gear .... targeting thing
  5. Probably so. I remember demolished Walmart store. Next Walmart project, Sams Club store, exactly the same location and dimension as original Walmart store except 6' taller or so. New store cost, probably cheaper versus original renovations. Also fewer columns (new design) B1G stadiums, I believe all in campus except Ryan Field
  6. My guess OSHA bureaucracy thing. Without OSHA rules, Empire State Building was only 13 months from blueprint to final product ! Versus Freedom Tower in NYC, 8 YEARS to complete. Roughly the same height both Empire and Freedom Tower (a.k.a. One World Trade Center) Though I never traveled in NYC. Anyway trivia story ... At 9:40 am on July 28, 1945, a B-25 Mitchell bomber, piloted in thick fog by Lieutenant Colonel William Franklin Smith Jr. crashed into the north side of the Empire State Building between the 79th and 80th floors. One engine completely penetrated the building, landing on the roof of a nearby building where it started a fire that destroyed a penthouse. The other engine and part of the landing gear plummeted down an elevator shaft, causing a fire that was extinguished in 40 minutes. Fourteen people were killed in the incident. Elevator operator Betty Lou Oliver fell 75 stories and survived, which still holds the Guinness World Record for the longest survived elevator fall recorded. Despite the damage and loss of life, many floors were open two days later. I know, untracked for this OP thread (as usual) ......
  7. Need new Husker ice hockey team . I pictured Memorial will sell out in ice hockey game(s). Big House event. Packed full ... set a record for attendance with an official attendance of 104,173 and Spartans too .... added Camp Randall ice hockey. Cracked ice rink during "Jump Around" Wisky tradition
  8. Much different ...... Memorial renovate cost vs new NFL stadiums. Again, WAY TOO HIGH !! from blueprint to final product ...... Though B-2 lemon bomber cost $1B per one plane ..... total costs (including production, spare parts, equipment, retrofitting, and software support) averaged $929 million (~$997 million in 2021) per plane
  9. Much better than ugly barrier fence. Plus built-in urinal fixture R.I.P. Pirate. Spray paint hedges, Miss St colors
  10. Trev said ..... "The target completion for the entire project is July 2026." Yeah right .... "Summer 2022" ....... Still under construction (but almost done)
  11. Trev Alberts proposal link ... I assume green color as shown will be a Student Life and Academics buildings. Noticed south stadium .... 2nd deck . Closer to the action ..... Vertical Circulation Upgrades ??? Anyway too high .... $450 million renovation . i.e. Tampa Bay Buccaneers stadium from scratch to final product, construction cost was $168.5 million ($303 million in 2022)
  12. Once again my previous thread (approx. 2 years ago) ..... ..... closer to the action !!! And then ..... Plant real RED robin hedge. Right now, ugly construction barrier fence .... eye sore IMO Nice natural grass !!! Remove mini-screen video boards (4 each) ... hidden ! Now tradition pillars .... carve "Southeast: "In Commemoration of the men of Nebraska who served and fell in the Nation's Wars." "Southwest: "Not the victory but the action; Not the goal but the game; In the deed the glory." "Northwest: "Courage; Generosity; Fairness; Honor; In these are the true awards of manly sport." "Northeast: "Their Lives they held their country's trust; They kept its faith; They died its heroes." Install huge HD Daktronics video board. Made in USA (Brookings SD) Next project .... renovate North stadium Finally exaggerate project ..... lower field level approx 10'. Thus more seats. Just like Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium ..... (wiki source) ... field was lowered seven feet to accommodate new front-row and field-level seats
  13. 3rd ..... not bad out of 37 Michigan defense players. Granted, half of them mop-up players but still 3rd on the team. NCAA total defense: Wolverines got 3rd in the nation.
  14. LB starter for sure. I believe leading Michigan tacklers . For example .... https://www.espn.com/college-football/boxscore/_/gameId/401520162
  15. Played Ernest "Benedict Arnold " Hausmann .... (2023 starting LB, leading tackles)
  16. And bowl eligible. The critical schedule, NU at Illinois. And then NW, and Purdue, and MSU, and Terps, and Wisky, and Iowa .....
  17. Very good chance thru Sept. 30, 1st place in East, not Blue nor Bucks and Lions but TERPS ! Huskers in the West division .... 6th out of 7. Last place, Boilers. I know, WAY too early ...... https://schersdd.tripod.com/sig2023_Copy_2.html
  18. 2023 .... last chance. 2024, no more "West" division. Probably no divisions at all.
  19. Announcement date? No divisions? My wild guess, keep 2 non-conference foes as schedule, UTEP and sCUm and eliminate FCS N.Iowa. Thus in regular schedule, 10 B1G opponents instead of 9. No longer exist ..... old model. Because added Oregon & Washington. My idea for example, 10 B1G foes instead of 9. Eliminate N.Iowa schedule and added Washington Huskies. Now 5 home, 5 away. Or else NCAA god change from 12 to 13 regular schedule (keep 3 non-conference teams) ..... though unlikely https://schersdd.tripod.com/sig2024.html
  20. North by Northwest beat Row the Boat Rodents. I'm happy ... equal to sCUm vs Ducks result (given) BTW in younger age, probably never heard of North by Northwest .... This plane, NW Wildcats fleet
