Playing their way to a 2 or 3-seed probably at the #1 overall team in the tournament. Fans will declare that the NCAA disrespects us, rather than look at the fact that the team can't hold a 3-run lead against a Big 10 opponent that just lost 5 of their first 6 conference games.

Lots of backward "k"'s with RISP

Was he playing in pain all season bc of his knee??? I didn't even know he had a knee problem.

Evidently they down played it somewhat, but it was brought up recently that it impacted how many minutes he could practice.

He was there to support Tominaga in the 3 point contest & a couple of comments he made sounded like he's planning to be back.   Don't remember exactly what he said, but I'm pretty sure he'll be back.

Sounds like the condition of his knee is also a contributing factor in his decision

So, to fill our roster, we need 6 of these guys.

I we get that, is our roster better than if everyone would have stayed?  Are these guys great pickups from mediocre and mid major programs?

I'd offer that Morgan adds much-needed front court depth, but not quite the elite level package we're chasing to elevate the program to the proverbial "Next Level".

  5. Or, one might envision a total capitulation  similar to the PGA/Liv  situation.

Or, perhaps outside entities will own and maintain stadiums in return for universities  "renting" out their names, mascots, and historical accoutroments, leaving only a facade of  the school's actual involvement., but tapping into the fan's passion and support.

The BTN+ broadcast of Nebraska home games is really good. Truth is, you can watch every game (home & away) on BTN+ but sometimes, like the previous series, you have to tolerate horrendous play by play. (Northwestern used college students and they were really crappy)

I've had BTN+ for years, and I searched for the game last night and could not find it.  I believe Creighton, as the home team, had the Big East network supercede Plus.

Markowski is 6' 3".  The problem is the lack of athletes around here. Petrie & Potts are 6' 2" & freshman.  Nothing great in the other classes.  We have a 6' 2" gal coming from IL, averaged 17 in HS

My comment about lack of leadership was not directed at the coaches (although the season long  persistent slow starts warrant looking at); but rather that no one on the court seemed ready to fire up and assume the lead.

Got the fourth foul on Oregon state’s big girl.
they don’t get her subbed out.
    so what do we do?

Chuck a three without even looking at Markowski. Then Markowski shoots a fade away instead of going at her. Missed terribly short.

Been settling for fade-aways all game (predictably short).

No confidence to attack. Remarkable lack of leadership.

They should be required to watch this tape every week this summer.

Red-shirted first year.  Got hurt early this year & disappeared.  I was excited to see him, but my guess we will know in the next few weeks.

Thanks. I knew about the red shirt but somehow wiffed on the injury.

Wilcher might not be coming back.

Keita has had ankle issues since coming here.  I think he will be back this next year.

    Lloyd is the big question.

What is the deal with Lloyd?

2 years on the roster, but crickets on the storyline....

  11. So, in the one week period of Wednesday to Wednesday we basically swapped the A.D. position 2 spots in the vowel hierarchy by moving from TrEv to TrOy.

A whole lotta needless angst for 168 hours, but with more information revealed on the O,  I've moved on from anger to optimism. 3 months ago, who would have ever bet that Trev would leave Husker Nation and that Brian Ferentz would be interviewed for a coaching job. Maybe Trev was fighting for Brian to be the new offensive coordinator and threw in the towel when that did not happen. Searching for a new AD while being President-less will be a real challenge. At that level, any candidate would want to know who their boss will be and how they look at all of the big issues (DEI, NIL, Stadium remod, etc.). If anybody wanted to snatch Ruhl from Lincoln, now would be a good time.

IF he was fighting for Brian Ferentz (which I highly doubt), then I'm doubly glad he's gone !!

The committee always seems to have a sense of humor with 1 or 2 1st round games each year, so I am going to call it now:

    7 Nebraska vs 10 Texas A&M

    In Omaha.

I'm surprised we have made it this far in the day with no final decision. But I think the longer things go, the better?

Then why hasn't Trev just provided a statement??

He's probably not going to be a Husker, which is the most disappointing recruiting miss since Corn Elder from a pure fit perspective.

Would be the biggest NAME miss since we lost the infamous......Nebraska Baker... out of Jersey to Kansas in the late '70's ...

I find Kaitlyn Clark highly unlikeable.

Especially when the national media ignores the whiny, petulant, b!^@hy aspects of her personality and tries to persuade us she handles it all with grace and aplomb.

Very impressed with the improved effort for defensive rebounding this year. It's a night and day difference from previous years. I hope Fred is able to find more players to maintain this effort and style in future years. Will keep them in most games if they can just have this kind of effort, even when the shots aren't falling.

A lot of the D improvement should be credited to the D assistant...

I'm not sure what to say.  I was hoping Nebraska came out strong,  I would never have guessed that they'd be up by 20 at halftime.

May be the best half of Husker Road BB we've seen in the last 20 years....

I can see 10-2 as much as I can see 6-6. How much improvement will we see at OL? Are these true freshman QBs ready for the leap? Can we find/develop a game breaker outside? With a year of film on the defensive schemes, will they be exploited more?  Realistically I can see us getting 8. Winning the first 7, take the L at OSU. UCLA is moving more into the toss up category for me. Take the L at SoCal, and then maybe slight favorites in the last two games.

Surprised so many are penciling in Colorado as a guaranted "W"....?

I hate to say it, but I think they will be improved.
