Learned the game of basketball in intramural at college and played many basketball tournaments, city leagues and noon ball at the local YMCA till I was 65. Started running sprints at seniors meets around the country about 9 years ago. I have 7 grandkids that I love dearly.

We are last in football Big Ten recruiting. Even Rutgers and Indiana had their best classes in many years. From bottom to top it ranks like this:

  If the 14 or so players that signed today stick around and we get 4 or 5 out of the portal we should be ok. If not we are constantly reshuffling with new players.

  We had a small class because we AREN'T shuffling a lot of new players this year.

  The excuses being given for why it's a small class are just that: excuses. When you have a small class, you should be focused on quality. This class should've been comprised of primarily 4* with a couple high 3*. Do you ever see any top-tier programs taking a year "off" of recruiting for ANY reason? Heck no.
