    Hate to admit this but I think the whole of Husker nation is collectively holding their breath in waiting to see if Nebraska can earn the double-by at the B1G tourney. Bench is going to be huge in this game.. Wilcher, dude.. Hope you have your best game ever!!

    9 months until next year.  Nov 25th through Aug 25th.  Do you like fishing?  Carpentry work?  Using DeWalt tools? Mixing together a Judas Priest or Tupac tape?  Shopping for Bugle Boy Jeans?  Rebuilding your truck's suspension?  Lift some weights in the garage? Eat another Runza?  Quit vaping?  Go to a Seminar or Worskshop?  Play Star Wars again?  Sit on your butt and talk Huskers every day?  Only 9 months until next season starts up.  What are your plans and to-do lists?  Don't wait until New Year... Let's hear it HB !!!

    Sad to hear of the death of former Husker Cole Pensick

    “Mourning the loss of one of our own.

    On behalf of the Nebraska Football program, our deepest condolences go out to the family, friends & teammates of former Husker lineman, Cole Pensick, who passed away yesterday at the age of 32.”

    He was in a car accident. So sad.

      It is crazy to think that 3 players who's careers overlapped have all passed away so young. Sam Foltz, Mark Pelini and now Cole Pensick.

    are there any masons here?   if so....can you tell me how this structure managed to stand long enough to get the roof on it?  is there anything they did right here?

      I would bet there is no vertical or horizontal rebar in those walls. I hope some neighbor kid doesn't run into it with his bike.

      That is the worst I have seen! No lintel steel over the windows and doors, all the joints are in line and not staggered. I'm guessing it was going to be plastered but it looks like the structural block on the front was less than 4" thick which would be a complete no-no.

      It's the same feeling I've had when the neighbor family that mine had a lot in common with lost their job and took another one out of state. Now a new family moves in and while they are cordial, we haven't had enough life experiences to become friends with yet. They seem nice but it's going to take time. Coaching at Nebraska has become musical chairs for too long.

    So excited that Nebraska received a commit from Westside kicker Tristan Alvano. I watched him in action during the state high school championships. He is really really good!

      Much of the blame for our failures over the last 20 years can be laid at the feet of our athletic directors. Their inability to seek council for coaching hires, to see that college football was entering a new era and/or making hires based on feelings rather than logic would lead us down a path for abject failure.

    BIG win for Nebraska! Not only does it eliminate Iowa from being the West champs and going to the CCG, but it ends our losing streak of 7 years to them! And to do it in a year where our coach is fired after only 3 games!

    Church's Fried Chicken in the Big-O. What's next Whataburger? No more fast food Omaha... We need more variety in sit down restaurants. maybe some Chicago Style Pizzeria's or some New Orleans southern cooking but no more darn chicken!!!
