How could Tom Osborne have lied to us all those years he was here. Telling us he had to run the ball to set up the pass. Yes Tom heaved the ball maybe 10 times a game 50% completion rate 15 20 yards a pass a touchdown or 2 a game. All those years I didn't realize they were afraid of our passing game and forcing us to run the ball, Tom was a sly old coach for sure. I think it's time for us to rename Tom Osborne Field to Mike Riley Field! Do I have any support for the change and remember Tom lied to us. PS Oh by the way Mike and his great staff did something today that never before has been done in Husker history wait for it 6 LOSES BEFORE NOVEMBER WAY TO GO TO A GREAT STAFF THANKS SHAWN FOR BRINGING US TO NEW AND BETTER RECORDS!!!!

I have to agree with you on this and what is also apparent does not communicate with each other, have team meetings. Do they even know each other.

I still a Husker fan still cheer for them hope they win them all. But as taxpayer in Nebraska and a proud parent of a UNL student I feel I should be able to voice my disappointment with this staff. I like Mike I also brought into the hype but your first impression is usually right and that was 50/50 coach. We were told with all of resources facilities money fan base educational support it was going to work. We had talent we had depth till August 20th or there so, than all of the sudden there was none. So apparently the keys to the Ferrari Mike and his staff was handed was actually to 1962 Nash Rambler. Nobody thought will would be 2 and 4 at this point, not even me I believed 4-2 maybe 5-1 with Mike or Bo. With our remaining schedule Purdue or Rutgers isn't a given with this staff. So Mike was 50/50 in the PAC-12 this year in B1G TEN maybe if we are lucky lol 2-6 but 0-8 is every bit as good, Like I asked in the opening how can losers teach our team to be winners. Oh I do want so bad to go 6-0 for the rest of the year I am a die hard Husker Fan.

So Shawn fires a 9 win coach and complete staff hires a 50/50 coach and staff brings them into a well know University lots of money gives them everything they can dream of gives them the keys to the sports car spend eight months talking them up how great they are, can he make them winners? I know longer think so and how can they teach our players to be winners when they don't know how to win.
