Raiola is a big guy. Didn't realize how much he weighed. Based on his rushing yards in HS, unsure if he can run like Allen (I'd love it if he does/would/could. Might have never really had to use his legs. Unsure if those numbers I have seen accounted for sacks. But to your point, Allen's QB has improved the offense at all levels. Thinking that Raiola will make us more multiple than previous years where we can effectively use the WR's, TE's and use the passing game to open up the running game. Don't need a QB to run like Tommie, but well enough to make DC's account for him.

I'd love Clemson to go to the B1G so I would have a chance of seeing the Huskers in SC.

Even "run the damn ball guy" likes those comments. And QB's who can actually open the running game by being able to throw. Tired of seeing us try to run against an 8 man front. And what's not to like about what San Fran is doing. Dallas runs something similar. They call it Texas Coast. Of course San Fran as mentioned has play makers at all key positions, same with Dallas. Could NU have that? DR or DK, Fidone/Nelson, Chi, unsure which RB would be named (Emmett Johnson?). I'd like to see us lean on one guy who gets the vast majority of snaps at RB.

That's where I am at. 2024 will be his year to show what he can do.

At first I was a little hmmmmm. Then re-read and I think he is wanting to be part of something bigger than UGA. Not just some plug and play guy. A chance to be a part of something great and be remembered. Like the Jet, EC and Mike. Nothing wrong with that. Cocky? Sure. Confident? Absolutely. NU needs that. Needs a playmaker who can elevate those around him. I think he will. (Kaelin as well). We need that swagger on the O side of the ball. The D has it, but when was the last time that the O had that? I'm ready for 2024! I want a cocky gunslinger who can make the D pay for 8 in the box. One who can drop dimes and move the ball. And this from "run the damn ball guy".

Finally a Win for NU. Still undefeated in the off season. Great job by the staff.

You know me. I love me some FB But I agree with you. Raiola wasn’t recruited by all of those schools to sit for a year or 2. He was recruited to play and make an impact immediately. He is a game changer. Something NU needs. We are very this in the “game on the line who needs the ball” type of guy. He’s that guy. Will it translate immediately his first year? Who knows…. But I feel like had he been here this year we are probably sitting at 8-4 at the least. We need to win sooner than later. And he is a big piece to getting that done.

Rhule on Pat McAfee for 45 minutes, Raiola and McC both visiting, Rhule going after other "big" gets etc....All after a 5-7 season. Dude is getting it done. Not a lot of other 5-7 teams getting this much press and shaking up the portal and recruiting world at this point this year. I'll take it. (Any word on Kaelin still coming?) Now if we land Raiola, McC and some of the others I will be shocked, but for today, we are in the media for all the right reasons.

No doubt. Especially the comments about him being an NFL talent. Dude looked the part for sure. Just the wheels fell off game one and he never got straightened out. I can't remember a guy with that many turn overs in so few games....

IIRC, the ST really took off after Bo took over. I felt like we always had a shot to break one in the return game. We had some good athletes come through here those years for sure.

I did see that there is some "backlash" from some that we are raising tuition and cutting programs and moving forward for a plan that is only partially funded....I have learned that there is always money if "they" want it. No idea who they are.

If that's the point they wanted to go (given Satts preference) just seems odd in hindsight they go after Sims year one. And after having run the entire season (out of necessity) with a QB ru centric offense, we might be getting the most static of the "better" QB's in the portal.Kaelin is definitely a traditional QB only running for 169 yards this season on 60 some odd attempts. And looking at Raiola's stats, he hasn't had positive yards as a rusher since Soph year. So you have a point that we appear to moving into the era of a static QB.....

Odd they went after Sims as their must "get" last year and now McCord (or other more traditional QB's). Two opposite styles for sure. I don't think Satt was really ever a QB run game guy. Im guessing Rhule is smart enough to look at potential QB's and what they can do with what we have and who else is coming in. I just can't believe that we are now on year 7 with no bowl game....
