  1. Count me in the group that thinks twitter has it's purposes when used responsibly. Now on the point of "fans" talking to players on twitter...Again, I have talked to a few guys on twitter and feel that done in a responsible manner, there is no problem with it. I remember talking with Fonzo about Georgia and being Atlanta Falcons fans. On another occasion, I talked to BK about being a proud father (#TEAMPROUDFATHER). It's all about being responsible with it and understanding how it can effect things.... There is no reason to be negative and threaten college students because of a game...EVER! On twitter: @huskerbenny
  2. I just noticed that Greg was downgraded to a 3 by Scout...That deserves a Chris Carter "C'mon Man!" GBR!!
  3. Yet another LB target that I think we need to be pursuing a bit harder with Debo's latest offer and all of that...Any new news on Jared?
  4. Another guy that has been pretty quiet since the summer... Any new news? I'm just going to bring up some of these older posts that haven't been talked about for a while.
  5. Hmmm another kid that has been quiet as of late. Seems like he has a lot of offers from smaller schools in the FBS, but Maryland is really the only other BCS conference team with an offer (according to his Rivals profile). Any new news on Ghierry? GBR!
  6. Anyone have an update on this kid? I know there was a lot of talk about him this summer, but haven't heard anything in a while. With Debo possible decommiting, do we put more emphasis on JR? Down to N, Arizona and Utah it looks like from Rivals....
  7. Just because they are black and show passion and aggression on the bball court, you call them "thugs"??? 1964 called and said this new crazy act has been put in place...I think they are calling it...CIVIL RIGHTS!! And you wonder why there is a racism problem in this country...keep that garbage out of here!
  8. When not rooting for the Huskers, I find that I root for Oregon. They are exciting and what I hope our offense could look like someday. Plus contrary to most people in this state, I like the random uniforms and think it's fun and exciting! NFL - Atlanta Falcons all day!! Liked them ever since the Vick and scumbag coach issues. MLB - I pull for the Royals, just wish they'd keep some of they're key players one of these days! NBA - No fan of any 1 team, but the beauty of the NBA is the star power. I'm a fan of specific players, not really they're respective teams. In that case, I would watch any game with Lebron, KD, Melo, DRose.... Hockey.........nuff said....
  9. wow awesome! Yet he's a 2 on other sites...Why can't their just be 1 universal rating system?? I'll stick with the 4 !! Can't wait to see LD v2.0 in red!! GBR!!
  10. Why do you say that? I have a feeling Ross Els has something to do with it. Are you throwing the race card out there or are you simply saying he's a bad recruiter/coach? Not pointing fingers at all, just curious as to what the problem with Els is. Why do feel Els is the problem?
  11. This is a good example. Living about a short drive from Athens it amazes me how much local talent they have on a yearly basis. They do lose their share of talent to other SEC schools BUT they still rake in eviable talent that would make us overjoyed. For as long as I've watched UGA (just as an observer), they have underachived IMO and don't use their athletes properly. So, although I'm preaching to the masses, it always isn't about stars. I wasn't even trying to single out Georgia either...lots of schools (SEC especially) have already started on next year. I believe Alabama already has 3 commits and Auburn, Florida, Michigan, tA&M and Florida State are in the same boat. We have to travel to their backyards and convince a young man to leave his home, family, friends and daily comforts to come to Nebraska and start over. To some kids, the fresh start is a relief, but the majority I would say want to be close to home. We have built in disadvantages in the recruiting field and I think we've done pretty well with what we've got so far. This class will work itself out, but the longer we take to finish this class, the farther behind we get on next year.......and the next year........ and the next year..... I know you weren't singling them out, just sharing some of my thoughts. Our job is a lot harder than other programs but it is what it is. Hahaha the Bo Pelini response "it is what it is".... good stuff. GBR!!
  12. Just to make another point...If football recruiting is so difficult, considering our history and acomplishments, how hard is it for Doc Sadler and his staff??? He can't tell a kid, "Come play for Nebraska...we'll help you make it to the NBA" (HAHAHA!!) or "We are a place of history with our...0 NCAA tournament wins"...oh wait... With what Doc has to work with, I'd say he's done a pretty decent job, and I think Dr. Tom understands. Sorry to change the subject, but I thought it was fair to show the bball staff some love.

  14. Looks great, but he has faced by and large a horrid schedule... Hahaha...Ball vs. Nebraska: 30 rushes, 151 yards (5 yd avg) and 4 TD's. Seems clear to me.......
