How has no one yet pointed out that multiple states think that cinnamon rolls and chili is their unique thing? A quick Google search turns up more mentions of Iowa and Kansas than Nebraska. People in South Dakota also think they are special for having had it in the school cafeteria. It's just a weird Midwest thing.

Runza is the obvious answer for signature Nebraska dish. It's just not something you see much anywhere else, but everyone who has spent any time in Nebraska knows damn well what it is.

I watch a ton of FCS football (and you should too!). Nebraska is not an FCS team. Probably not as good as NDSU, but that's about it.

I can not understand why one would be against an actual playoff system. It's implemented in every other level of this and every other sport. Why would it not work here?

A system that allows a team to go undefeated two years in a row and not even come remotely close to having a chance at competing for the title is asinine.

I follow FCS football very closely. They only have 11 game seasons. No one feels ripped off by not having that 12th game if they don't make the playoffs.

The regular season also has a lot more value because most games are relevant. Higher ranked teams are fighting for seeding, fringe teams are fighting for their playoff lives. In our current FBS model very few games each week actually impact the "playoff" picture.

Just like how the NFL regular season has lost its value? Give me a break. No one cares who won the conference and the pointless bowl games won't be any less pointless.

Expand the damn field already. NFL, D1 FCS, D2, NAIA, D3, and high school all have 8, 12, or 16+ team playoffs.
