  1. Lol, me either. They were both there on a stadium tour that they gave my nephew for his birthday. They were by the meeting room area, saw Trev, Matt, and a few other assistants walk out of a meeting room and when they saw the tour group, went right back in the room.
  2. My wife's sister is my sister in law. Her husband is not my brother. What is this, Alabama?
  3. I posted the other day that my sister in law physically saw Rhule in the facility on Monday. Her husband had to mansplain who he was. I assumed they were delaying the announcement because of the UVA shooting but I was wrong on that. I heard that he left with a contract for his attorneys to review. There wasn't a yes or no at the meeting on Monday.
  4. Rhule is in Lincoln. My sister in law was at a stadium tour for my nephews birthday and they saw Matt, Trev, and a few assistants walk out of a meeting room. They saw my sister in law and walked right back into the room. No idea when they’re going to make the announcement, but it’s gonna be Rhule.
  5. All vests are sleeveless. Are you some kind of antivestite?
  6. If the Rhulemors (see what I did there ;)) are true, we can't be surprised considering Trev's criteria. He wanted an experienced coach that can develop players. From what I've heard, the criticisms on Rhule don't have any drama to them, they're just folks complaining they didn't get the coach they wanted despite them having zero control over the process.
  7. What will they think of next?!?!?! I get the promotion aspect, but this is a stupid name for a brand.
  8. There are only four games left in the season. We've all heard about Richie Torres' arm, lets see it in action.
  9. I understand there is only one head coach of Alabama. My point is that none of those big names are really going to want to take a gig like Nebraska in the hopes they get a shot at the 'Bama gig and subsequent openings after he retires.
  10. I don't think any of these coaches (minus chadwell & deion) will make any moves until the Alabama job opens up. I'm not saying Saban is going to retire this year, but it certainly seems like his years are somewhat numbered. He's 70 years old and his years of dominating the SEC with superior physical talent are dwindling. Not saying the team isn't full of studs, but NIL deals have brought some parity to the talent landscape in the SEC. Whenever he retires, there will be a trail of jobs that open assuming Bama goes full brinks truck to hire Smart or Dabo, leaving another top 5 job open for those other candidates.
  11. It seems like he knows something about the future head coach. It’s not Mickey because I think they would have announced he’s the new guy, but to me, it indicates he knows Mickey is sticking around because the new head coach wants to retain him. This is a huge get for Nebraska. This kid could have played anywhere.
  12. Bielema has gotten huge since he was at Wisconsin. He's really tall so he won't look like Mangino, but I bet they weigh about the same.
  13. To me, this explains why Mickey comes across so hard on himself in his press conferences. I think Mickey saw Scott as someone who refused accountability and that the kids need to see a leader who accepts accountability. To me, that key difference in leadership is why the kids A) haven't bailed on the program, and B) seem to be more engaged during the games.
  14. As the late, great, Cornel Sanders once said, I'm too drunk to taste this chicken.
  15. I'd run through a wall for that sick jacket he was wearing, but I can't find it on the Husker Shop website.
  16. After 277 pages, I'm still annoyed with the title of this thread. It should be "Who should be our next HC?"
  17. Speaking of silly season, lets all take a moment to appreciate the ridiculousness of the statement on his hoodie. Intercept Cancer? Give me a break. They're wearing a shirt that is saying Catch Cancer. The NFL is so dumb.
  18. Because I'm currently THE resident authority on who NU should hire, how much they should be paid, and the details of their contract, I would prefer Dave Aranda with Mickey Joseph staying on as WR coach. I only say that because unlike the rest of this board, I am the only one qualified to make such deluded statements.
  19. I was referring specifically to the person posting with "#HireMeyer" in their signature line. I've read most of the 200+ pages of this thread and know everyone has their dream hire.
  20. We get it, you want Urban Meyer. Good luck with that.
  21. What if Mickey gets the job and hires Ed Orgeron as his DC/DL coach?
