Congrats to Aaron Judge on breaking Maris’ HR record. Hell of an accomplishment and hope he adds on.

@ladyhawke yeah, I’m my bad there. Not a Yankee fan but not a hater either and from all accounts I’ve heard is that Judge is a great dude. Hard to root against him and happy for his successes

Which was worse. Chinese hackers or the creepy trolls posing as Husker fans?

Was sent home from my parents with boxes of “my stuff.” Sifted through 2 middle school yearbooks and both years Adam Sandler was voted “Favorite Actor.”

Pretty cool seeing Chucky go dap the entire MNHS team after the game and before the individual awards were handed out.
Who would have thought that Omaha metro would have 3 nationally ranked basketball teams. The girls have some up and comers making a splash, too.

NIL is going to be big for Nebraska and I am excited to see how they embrace it. If they can start winning, it will be tough to stop.

What are the odds the Minny game is canceled?

Could adidas find a uniform combo for Louisville that doesn't look like a ripoff nebraska?

Cheers to President Trump for assisting in the effort to make Nebraska football great again. Without his help, B1G may not have played football this year.

Sir Yacht-zee has been pretty credible

Too often I read something and then immediately think of a “too soon” joke or comment that’s inappropriate. Covid sucks

Is Kurt Warner referencing NU?

If NU is holding workouts after spring break, I don't see any way he isn't referencing NU.
And how can that be considered not level-headed? We may not like it but there are quite a few things more important than college football. Sure our team and players need every opportunity possible to get better but we've also recently been a .500+/- team. So in the grand scheme it really doesn't matter if they workout or practice at this time. jmo. Although it does seem they could easily maintain quarantine and safe distancing for lifting weights and workouts. Just may have to slow down a little and do a lot more sanitizing in between. It's not like the players have anywhere else to go.

Alex Lewis and Maliek Collins both make the list for bargain signings. Was not expecting Lewis to be on this list, but really that’s what it seems it has come to, underachieving NU alum finding success in the NFL.

Been wanting this implemented in NCAAF and NFL, so I’m happy to see XFL broadcast conversation between replay officials and on-field officials during a review.

Seahawks going to win the super bowl next year. They let good players walk who stopped buying into Pete and Schneider - Bennett, Sherman, ET - and have improved each of the last two seasons. Make some offseason moves, improve OL and secondary, and I like their chances.

Not a fan of commentators acknowledging point spreads and bad beats on the broadcast, but that’s just my opinion.

@teachercd it's like the game commentators are giving you a long-distance dedication when they mention the bad beats.
-
I don’t think I have great concrete reasoning, but I don’t care to hear about bad beats or back door covers. I get that it’s for the niche fan and sports betting has become more acceptable, but I don’t want it to be added to the in-game narrative like referee analysis has become because I view it as taking away from the game itself. Leave that to the degenerates who already know these numbers without being told!

Haas avocados are 2 for $.88, darn good deal. Get to da (Price) Chopper!

If you’re in the Omaha metro, have a Michigan friend and need a gag gift, I recommend stopping into Bellevue’s Lied Center to pick up a Michigan 2019 CWS Champion shirt, not all of them made it to Africa. They’re only $1

Woke up this morning not reaching for glasses and able to see 20/20 for the first time in almost 25 years. Prior to today, I couldn’t see anything in focus that was more than 6” in front me of (there’s a joke or two somewhere in there). Thank the Lord for smart people who invented LASIK because this is effin awesome.
-
So you finally were able to find your peter after 25 years? /jk
Seriously tho, congrats. Near perfect eyesight is often taken for granted but once you've had it and lost it, it kinda sucks. I was 20/15 most of my life.....until I hit my mid 40's. Still about 20/30, not terrible but reading small print and up close is another story. When Lasik can correct to where I don't need readers or bifocals I'm in.
-
It’s as small as I remember!
I envy those with good eyesight, they are fortunate people. I ended up developing a bad reaction to multi-purpose solution last year and couldn’t wear contacts for about 3-4 months until I switched to Clear Care solution, which helped but it created a paranoia about vision. Finally saved up and pulled the trigger. I see better now than I did with my contacts

Look at all those great Dodger fans leave to go do all those other things to do in LA. Although it must be nice to be Bryce Harper instead of those dodger fans, at least he’s at home beating the traffic.

anybody looking for tickets to the basketball scrimmage and Rick Ross event tomorrow night?

The laptop froze out and kicked me out of my auction draft just as I was supposed to nominate a player, 2nd round of nominations, I had Ziggy at the top of my board and ended up being my first pick of the 2019 fantasy year. Hoping for stupid luck!
