  1. He said nothing of the sort. He did say that our DL was under-sized and prone to being pushed around--which is what any competent NU fan has said At 28:50 he says "I'm not really impressed with Nebraska's defense" and Penn State's consistent OL can take advantage of that. From his comments and body language he conveys his opinion is our defense is not very good. He's not trying to be mean or degrading about it...just saying what he sees...I tend to agree with him. We need more help on the defensive side of the ball, especially at DL. But the focus of this segment was the O and D lines. Hence his impression was based on what he saw from our interior lines, We probably have suspect LBs but our secondary is as tight as a drum. And he never said our defense wasn't "any good" and I challenge anyone to find audio where he said that.
  2. Yeah...and I went to high school with Clay Matthews....not. Look, I'm not trying to be a d*** here... But, realistically, what are the statistical odds of a high school player, the teammate of an all Pac 12 Oregon OL no less, posting on a Nebraska site as a Nebraska fan? Slim to freaking nil is what I'm thinking. Welp, since you're gonna be a dick about it... http://www.goducks.c...&ATCLID=1550510 Lake City High School in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. Now then. I can't find the roster for the 2006 Lake City football team, I was on the freshman team as a freshman anyways. Buuut what I can find is my lacrosse statistics frommm, yeah Lake City High School in Coeur D' Alene, Idaho. If ya line up the years, sure enough, I was a freshman there when he was a senior. http://www.maxpreps....dam-marfice.htm Hardy har har. Congrats...you appear to be the 1 out of 1,000,000,000,000,000 who is actually truthful about going to high school with someone playing football at the major BCS level.

  5. Like how certain "fans" still criticize Barney Cotton despite our offense being 5th nationally in rushing and 12th nationally in total offense?
  6. http://espn.go.com/n...rting-news-poll Every team would love to have Suh on their roster even if he plays a bit rougher than most other players. "Dirty" is code for I wish he was on our team.
  7. Well MSU's D had some pretty stout numbers and we, statistically speaking, crushed them.
  8. Not really. There is literally no team left on our schedule that we can't beat. Penn State, Minnesota, and Iowa? Good God homie...we execute and we should beat each of these teams by 50.
  9. Read your post and nothing else in this thread... That being said... When Saban, Kelley, Miles, Stoops, et al does something like yell and scream at officials then obviously it is justified and warranted. But...when Bo does it...well then that is completely unacceptable.
  10. hasnt montee ball stepped it up since the game against us? and idk i just think its harder to beat a team twice ala washington a couple years ago It is true that beating a team twice in a season is difficult, but given Wisconsin's woes...if UW makes it to the BIG title game and NU does as well...the BIG title is ours to lose.
  11. Ummm...Nebraska has NEVER ran the wishbone. The closest we came to running a wishbone offense was 1997 with Scott Frost as he ran at times the flexbone which is now "famous" with GT HC Paul Johnson. That being said, I wanted to absolutely hate this guy...but I didn't and don't. He provided some very nice analysis and what he said was not only reasonable, but pretty insightful. One thing he noticed was how athletic our OL is (suck on that Barney Cotton haters), but he also commented on how we tend to struggle with pressure right up the middle (which again, in fairness, nearly every OL struggles with pressure in the A gap). He also said that regardless of offensive system every offensive lineman executes the same basic blocks. The sole difference being in what said OL is required to do. He gave a great analysis as to the differences between what an OL from LSU versus Oregon is required to do. Overall I think he was pretty impressed with our OL and offense and thought that schematically we were very similar to what Oregon does. He was impressed with our tempo offensively. He was not however impressed with our DL. (In fairness though no Nebraska fan has been impressed with the DL.) The Oregon OL said our DL was small and could be pushed around easily which is what we, as Husker fans, have noticed from the start. Overall, this was a very good video. Two thumbs up.
  12. When we make it to Indianapolis and face Wisconsin again we are virtually assured of a BIG title. Wisconsin doesn't have anything offensively, outside of #4 at WR, to even remotely challenge our defense.
  13. Don't think so. Sideline reporter said they went over their to check on him and he look at them and said "don't worry about me I'm fine." Tough kid, could be trouble next year. No he won't. Michigan State's offense is a pro-style joke. Now, if Mark Dantonio decides to start recruiting mobile, agile, dual threat QBs we could be in trouble. But for now, we will absolutely own Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Iowa, and any other BIG school that uses a pro-style, pocket passer.
  14. Penn State has, I think, a tough defense. I think NU wins by a hair. 56-0.
  15. Just curious..how'd that prediction work out for you? Or maybe you meant that Michigan would LOSE by 3 TDs?
  16. If Nebraska was playing Oregon with one week to prepare I might be inclined to agree. However, Nebraska vs Oregon in the Rose Bowl with 5 weeks to prepare evens out the odds.
  17. No. This subject needs to beaten continuously until even Rodney King thinks it is excessive.
  18. The bigger, and more important, question to ask is: Where has the play-action passing game to our tight ends out of the i formation gone? Missouri 2010 is the last time I remember one of our TEs, Kyler Reed, going up the seam for a huge play/TD. In my opinion we don't throw nearly enough to the TEs.
  19. Nebraska at home = a +7 favorite against Michigan...especially if our defense plays like they did against Northwestern.
  20. I don't really know (or care) what you're saying here. So FO.......
