This isn't a bad thread. The other threads; somewhat similar beat around the bush. this is a lot more direct, and deserves some discussion.

I personally think that Huskers fans are more united after this hire. Pelini was very divisive, I think most huskers fans aren't 100% thrilled with the hire, I think most of us think it is a very solid hire. I like most huskers are waiting to see the entire staff before making final judgement. I don't think anyone is happy about the DC hire. If the rest of the staff is really good I'll give the DC the benefit of the doubt.

They are all I-N-S-A-N-E-!!!!!!!! To believe that they were left out because they are a christian school is the epitome of ridiculous.

 

I actually don't think they are insane, I think there is something to it. Especially how DHS calls christians terrorists on their websites nowadays, and how obama's ring that he always wears says "there is no god but allah" We would be very naive to believe that politics dont play into these decisions. I think 90% of it is political to be honest

Yeah Kill is good, he represents what Nebraska is about, and he is getting some National attention with Minnesota. Imagine what he would do at Nebraska.

Scott Frost or bust!!!! He's the best available. Only knock you guys have on him n inexperience. He is gonna be a hot commodity soon. If you don't get him now, you might not ever get him, and he might be winning NC's for a team like USC. Get this rising star he is charismatic and can get recruits. He will finally give our team an identity. Plus he is the HC. All he does it choose our system which I like the systems he wants, it will be a huge upgrade. He has been groomed by the best and knows what he is doing. Outside of the he just has to get the right Coordinators, then look good in pressers. Championship!!

No it isn't. Lets get this very clear to all Husker Nation. Due to the fact you get 4 cream puffs a year, and 4 you should be fairly able to manage like Illinois. Its not a good number of wins. People that are thinking that live in the past when teams would play 11 or 12 games a year, Now we play 13 or 14. If Nebraska is not winning 80 percent of its games its not good enough. If you loose over 25% of your games which is what 9-4 is. Then how are you a top 25 team? Being ranked at Nebraska should be a birth right. I mean we go 8-4 and when our bowl game we are 9-4, but if we go 8-4 we are in the bottom half of our side of the conference. I am completely failing to see how having a record that puts us in the bottom half of conference is a good thing, Maybe if your Iowa State. My how the mighty have fallen. This use to be a top ten program. Its no longer a top 25 program. But officially Missouri and Texas A&M are better programs than ours right now. Winners don't settle for average.

We are way better than Iowa, and Minnesota. Iowa is awful. Iowa is only giving them a game because they don't have philosophical problems like our coaches do. I actually think we are as good maybe even better than Wisconsin. We struggle against Wisconsin, Minny, and Iowa, because Bo has very serious schematic and philosophical errors that don't allow us to match up well with these teams.

Its sad but we have the talent on the team to beat Wisconsin we dont have the coaches that are 'WILLING" to make the adjustments to beat them. It will be bo's hard headed ways that will eventually do him in; along with those he decided to put around him OC, DC ect....

Anyone on here saying we suck doesn't know football very well, we are actually a team good enough to be in the top ten or better, the problems is Bo has refused to change what he is doing to be able to compete with the physical big ten teams. If he did that we would be fine........ This is a lot easier said then done. I am sure there are a ton of people out there that can better explain the problems better than I can. A lot fewer that actually know how to fix it. Problem is that Bo is clearly in the group that doesn't know how to fix it either.

ASU AGAIN?!?!?!?!? Isn't there a limit to the number of scholarships a team can have? Find your own recruits ASU. Crappy school too, I've been there

I felt like he was still beating the drums of the SEC in that article, saying there are the greatest this and the greatest that. With a I am jealous tone to it. I don't feel that way at all. I don't think they are the best conference and I think they are overrated. They are up there with the best, but they need to over sign recruits every year. Sure they have won 7 straight NC, which is great but they are a little cheap. ESPN puts 3 out of the top 5 preseason teams SEC schools every year. So almost no matter what they get one team to the NC each year. Lets not forget they basically have home field advantage in those games plus an entire network and the NCAA president behind them. I really don't think they are any better than any of the other BCS conferences. There record vs other conferences is about average, and they play more FCS schools than any other conferences. I am not drinking the SEC cool aid.

Someone said this is between ASU and NEB. If that is the case I think I like our chances. If I am correct I think they have 24 commits right now. I know they are after a couple players that we are after as well like JUCO WR Eric L. I saw they were pretty warm with a handful of other good instate players. How many commits are they planning to take this year? They can't have a lot of spots left. They are having a hell of a recruiting year though.

Got it thanks. I think this is our biggest immediately need right now. OT is a big need to right now, but I think we have some interchangeable parts that makes it less of a need than CB. Outside of our top three CB's it didn't feel like the rest hit the field all that often this year. Next years D line could be special. Hurried QB's could mean more INT's. Love to see Brown RED!!!

This kid is really good, but raw!! Love to have him we have a couple good backs now, but in a year or two he could get into the mix.

Thinking about Auburn's offensive success and watching them run the diamond formation. The announcers in the Auburn-Mizzou game were talking about how great that look was and how difficult it was to stop.

 

Why are we not using that more? Cross, Abdualla and Newby should have all been in on a ton of plays last year.
