I agree a lot with this.  Time to get some new players either that are on the roster or recruit them.  The fact that we have not recruited an elite pass rusher in like a decade is plain stupid.

This is an insane take.  45 practices and 3 live games the program is short on the last 3 years.  That's a gigantic disadvantage if the goal is to get better at playing football.

Maybe they thought the plastic was washing out to sea.  What the OceanCleanup guys found was the mass of the plastic accumulated in the gyre didn't have near the amount of plastic known to be discharged into the ocean.  Based on the dates of some plastics found in the gyre they didn't think the plastics were being broken down into microplastics and forming a smog that was theorized.  They believe that after a few years it washes ashore and a small fraction escapes into the ocean currents and into the gyre.  They may not be s#itting where they sleep but where their neighbor sleeps.  I know in the PI people are getting a lot more conscious of plastic pollution.  My wife and I sponsored a local beach cleanup which they had been conducting for a few years and they are making a huge effort to clean up Manila Bay.  

@4skers89 The problem is, once the trash is ground up and pelletized, there aren't a lot of products that use them.  Every time you recycle a plastic, it loses it's physical properties.  So, virgin material is cheaper AND it makes a better product.  

If I bought a load of recycled product, I have absolutely no clue what kind of quality I'm getting.  If I get virgin material, I know the exact cell classification, how it's going to process and the quality of the product that's going to come out the other end.  The types of plastics are an issue too.  Every type of plastic has certain properties that make it for a specific use.  You can't make a sewer pipe out of pop bottles.  You also can't make food or medical grade products out of the trash.

Agree with his minor league comment. All for paying athletes, but college football/sports as we know them will cease to exist. 

The thing is the bill isn't designed to make schools pay athletes. It allows athletes to make money off of their image in a similar way to olympic athletes. I think this bill is long overdue.

I was on Huskerpedia after it was free to post. I signed up here in 2008 but it took some time before I regularly started posting.

I've lurked over there, seems like some decent folk with some dick heads mixed in.News wise they are usually behind what you learn here first and the recruiting section is a mess.

Today I learned there's a town in Minnesota named Wyoming.

Forecast is now high/low of -16/-27... 20 year lows

I saw those temps for Minnesota and my brain locked up...I literally can't fathom how cold that is.  It's like last January in Nebraska except worse and that was the coldest I could ever remember it being.

Stick was offered to walk-on by Pelini.  He was a marginal big conference talent, but has turned into quite a QB.  He will get a look at the NFL.

You almost have to know where St. Helena is to be able to actually find it. 

I grew up on a farm straight across the river from St Helena and have driven by the sign a thousand times on 81 and I'm still not convinced the town exists.

Yeah, I'm with Toe on this one.  He needs to shoot a little higher if he's getting back into it, but he shouldn't wait too much longer.  

One of these days the odds will catch up to them and they'll start losing all of these close games. They're the anti-Nebraska right now, winning yet being out gained.

I had sympathy for them until the Vedral issue came out. 

I was over them the moment the clock hit zero against Auburn. Schedule and beat top P5 teams and people will care about them. Or, they should work towards aligning themselves in a P5. It's the system and world we live in.
