    I was indifferent towards the Hero trophy but keeping it for another year would be sweet. Maybe it's the size of the hardware but seeing pictures of our players holding it, I want them to keep that dang trophy.

      I like all the trophies in the B1G. And I think it'd be cool as a player to grab as many as possible from other schools during your playing days for the Huskers. Just sayin..

      If it was a timed down would teams be allowed to kick the extra point or go for 2 if they scored a touchdown with no time left?

      They probably would. I was just reading that if a team is up by 1 or 2 they are required to attempt an extra point since it could effect the game (defense returns it for a score) Happened in Iowa vs. MSU in 2009

      Officially they use an hourglass sand timer on the sidelines. And if the Xtra point hasn't been attempted yet, they flip it over. This is official stuff here.

    Not an excuse but this season has probably been a real grind for the players with a bye still over a week away. Tough schedule for a new staff.
