Yes, there are always examples here and there. But the point is there are usually only 3-4 kids each year that are major D-1 caliber. The Huskers usually get 2-3 of them. Take the top couple and take your chances on missing a few. For every Woodhead, Ott and Bazata there are probably 4-5 more that "could" have been offered but didn't get one and that turned out to be the correct choice. My point exactly.

What year was Woodheads class? I'll give you Ott even though he still might be a backup to McMullen or Moss if he was still here. But given our DE depth he would be a good addition. Has Bazata even touched the field? I thought he redshirted.

Well that's a bold prediction!! I am not against Pelini and his staff but I think it is a bit concerning that some of the locals aren't receiving offers. Or when they are they don't feel as wanted as others not from here. Pelini and staff have been pretty good on judging who should grab an offer. I cant think of anyone we should of offered that we just flat out missed on in recent years. Also, I don't understand why everyone thinks so many of these Nebraska kids need to get offered. Nebraska in-state talent is pretty poor compared to pretty much anywhere else. You cant grab people just because their local. You grab people you think can make an impact on your football team and they must not of seen it in some of those guys.

What are you thinking of putting in the tank?

I've had aquariums all of my life. I currently have a 55 gallon tank with 2 channel cats and a peacock bass. First channel is about 4 inches and the second is about 3 1/2 inches and is an albino. Just got the peacock bass about three weeks ago and he is about 3 1/2 inches as well. Peacock is happily accepting feeders and only feeders. I tried cichlid pellets but he flat out refused them. Feeding the channel cats a mix of frozen bloodworms, krill, and shrimp. The peacock will easily outgrow the tank and i'm planning on getting a 240 gallon. Might catch a crappie to add in there. The channel cats will be going in a pond when they reach a decent size. The peacock has quite the appetite for his size. Bought eighteen minnows yesterday around 5 or so, and they are all already gone. I have a couple pictures if you guys would like me to message them to you.

I don't think this is a shot at Nebraska. He's been here a lot and we continue to talk to him. He had good things to say about his visit yesterday and seemed to be looking forward to working out tomorrow. Daishon Neal said he talked to CJ yesterday and thought he would commit almost immediately if/when he got an offer. I bet he's in the next 48 hours. Did he already do the camp?

I would say my dad. I was born in Kansas but he lived in Omaha for 8 or 9 years. My interest started in about 2008. However, I really got into Nebraska football during the 2009 season and it's taken off ever since.

I'm not sold on Wisconsin. They have little impact players on their offense besides Gordon and the other RB. I think I also remember hearing that they lost some guys on the DL as well.
