  1. Is that a good or bad thing? Can’t decide.
  2. https://huskerdoctalk.podbean.com/mobile/ great segment by Rob Zatechka on the condition of the Oline and the offense. Not sure how it plays into the numbers but could explain some things. I think NU will have its hands full with Maryland’s running qb. Hope they figure it out for Indiana.
  3. i like the idea. Get people talking about NU early. Helps with recruiting.
  4. Sure hope the young guys are N. If it’s the upperclassmen, they will be weeded out soon enough.
  5. Depends on recruiting, ability to change, improve the culture, what they can teach, adapting to B10, Some of the staff moving on...Too many variables. If they don’t get back to the basics, it could be a long time. On third and one, can NU just go to a power formation. Lose the shotgun crap?
  6. Making a little coin off their losses eases the pain. I look forward to the day when I can cash in on NU smacking the Iowa and Wisconsin’s around. Just not there yet.
  7. I have. Thanks.Bet the under on them reaching 7 wins earlier this year.
  8. I would bet the under on NU winning 2 more games.
  9. Frost brought Chin in. What’s to say he would hire anyone better? I’d be happy if Chin left for any reason. Wasn’t a fan from day 1.
  10. I’ve seen enough. This team gets worse each week.
  11. I'm staying away from this one with so many unknowns. If I were to bet, I'd take Minnesota and the points. Weather, kicking game, injuries on NU's side, new QB,... It will be a cold, wet sloppy one. Think NU can win but road games haven't been NU's thing. Here is how "the U" is preparing fwiw: link
  12. Was the ball in the air when the contact occurred?
  13. NU kicked a last second fg to win. Seems like the 2 teams were evenly matched.
  14. I agree with that to an extent, but they struggled with Illinois and NU was more talented. NU will make mistakes/shoot themselves in the foot, and NW will stick around because of it. NU doesn’t even snap the ball right. The kicking game is 50/50. The Qb is turnover prone. The Oline... i hope NU rolls Nw but just don’t see it.
  15. The Ohio State game showed where NU has massive deficiencies.
  16. So everyone who posts something needs to explain that it’s their opinion? LOL good luck with that crusade. Most people KNOW it’s an opinion. It’s what a message board is about. Differing opinions and thoughts. Nebraska will make mistakes. Will make penalties. Will miss tackles. Will turn the ball over. Will make NW look better because they have massive deficiencies on the team. If the team plays perfect and owns NW...great! If you have an OPINION on NU, share it.
  17. It’s my opinion. You are welcome to think NU will play a flawless game. It is also ok that not everyone agrees with each other. From the product NU has put on the field thus far, NU will do dumb things/turn the ball over. Call it youth, coaching, talent whatever, but ball security and lack of penalties hasn’t been NU’s calling card this year. It’s not a psychic ability. Just paying attention.
  18. Go to the top of the page as I said that the offense/sp teams will make dumb mistakes/turnovers. I wouldn’t bet on NU looking elite (in any phase of the game) any time soon. NW will put points on the board and plays smart (unless their coach has another epic brain fart like he did against Wisky). They are fundamentally sound and tackle well. Something Chin’s defense struggles with. I do hope your right and NU shuts them down!
  19. His defense gives up lots of points. Hard to fall off the floor.
  20. Yes. Their offense sucks and doesn’t have playmakers, but Chin is Chin. Plus, someone on offense and/special teams will do something stupid to give NW more chances to score. I am hoping NU gives NW multiple looks from the lbs and brings guys from all over to pressure the Qb. Play tight coverage.
  21. Some are propping up NW as an un-winnable game. I’ve watched two of their games and feel NU can beat them. Will they? Depends on their heart and will to win.
  22. I didn’t want Chinander from the start but it was the cost of getting Frost to Lincoln. I doubt coach cans Chinander or the special teams coach (both are horrible) and no other school wants them.
