I hope you are right but NU is coming off a tough, emotional hard hitting game. The nuts starters sat for almost a half. Special teams for NU is small bus special. NUs defense isn’t good (better than last year.) The Oline will get eaten alive by OSU D front. Plus the team is beat up (injuries). This is a new coaching staff for OSU that will put the foot all the way on the pedal imo. Wish NU would fix all their woes and win outright, but the my money says “not happening”.

Hard to say what some expect.

Look at year 4-5 with Frost’s guys. Make the determination then. Not year 2. Players can get stronger and faster from freshman to senior seasons. Gain better understanding of the scheme. If they still suck after then, it’s a coaching fail or injury.

Yes. A lack of conditioning during Hip hip hooray guy and young players is why the Oline isn’t where they need to be. This isn’t Madden.

One of the things I love about college football are the bowl games. I had some down time and thought I'd look around and see where NU is projected to go. I know it is all a big guess at this point, but I do enjoy looking at the possible match ups. These are picks after last week not ones from months ago. I am not speculating on if or where they will go. Just showing what others are saying. I will be in Florida during the holidays and hoping NU will end up down there, but I will be happy for them if they qualify for any bowl game (unless its the Independence Bowl in Shreveport because that venue sucks in SO many ways). The one announcers voice is horrible.

The line will get bigger and stronger as they get older. More depth added with each recruiting class. It will take time.

Rebuilding takes time. This isn’t Madden. I just want a bowl game this year for the extra reps and tangible proof Frost is moving the needle the right way. I got my doubts if they can go bowling this year but I’m hoping.

I wish they would roll him out. Throw if it’s there and run if it’s not open. Throw the ball away if the defense is stringing it out. Give him slants, swing passes, and high % throws.

Then if talent isn’t the issue. Why is the offense sputtering? I say he’s missing an offensive line, rb, and wr on one side of the ball to do the things he wants to do.

Wasn’t saying get rid of him. NU just has a severe shortage of talent to make the offense go. He was handed a mess by hip hip hooray guy.
