  1. Very glad that I found the HuskerBoard! I've been interviewed alot lately, and since I'm most likely going to be a broadcasting major I thought I'd answer a few questions that don't seem to have been asked yet. Q: What size of high school are you coming from? A: Penn High School in Mishawaka, IN. has an enrollment of about 3,600 in 9th - 12th grade. Q: What other position if any do you play? A: I have been the starting long snapper since my sophomore year. I was the starting center my junior year, and will again be the starting center this year. Q: What kind of season did you have last year? A: We went undefeated all season long until we got into the state championship game. We were the runner's up. Let's just say I had a lot of opportunities to show my long snapping talent at that game! Q: What made you decide to be a long snapper? A: My dad played college football back in the 70's, he is 6'2" and my Uncle (his brother) who is 6'7" played college basketball. Unfortunatly I didn't get their height, but I wasn't going to let that stop me from playing the sport that I love at the next level. I picked up long snapping at a young age, and my parents through NCSA found Chris Rubio who has helped me perfect my snap. I have studied the art of long snapping, and have made it into my passion. Long snapping might look easy, but you really have to put alot of time into it to perfect it. Then you go to competitions and camps so that you can get ranked. I just got back from Rubio's Top 12 event in LA. The results will be out in a week or so, but I can guarantee you that the Nebraska Cornhuskers were well represented! Thanks to you all... I'm enjoying all of your comments! GBR!
