I would assume there was reasoning for the move at some point and I know its been there a while now, but moving Volleyball from their own forum to a subforum in Other Sports is disappointing

Very disappointing. Here it is, the second most popular sport at Nebraska and its relegated to a sub forum. Meanwhile, we have baseball that is struggling to be a decent program and much lower following with fans have it's own forum.
That should change.
Baseball and Softball can be combined as subforums. Have Volleyball by itself.

As much as I don't like Iowa and would love to believe they are doing this out of fear of having opposing fans at the game, this is their response and I understand why they did it.
Also, I would have thought the Denver Broncos would have the Orange Crush trademarked. Maybe they don't because that was 40+ years ago.

I just tried filing my car up with gas. The pump wouldn’t keep running without me holding it. I couldn’t do it. I would have had frost bite before it was full. This cold sucks.

@admo sitting on a plane in Fort Worth typing this.
it was 6 above and -30 windchill when I was trying to fill up.
I’ll wait till Wednesday when I get back to finish filling up.
I can handle the cold usually. But, match it with 30+ mph winds and can’t do it unless dressed for it.
yesterday was -15 for the high with -50 windchill. I didn’t leave the house.

I've been basically non-existent online since Wednesday afternoon. Anyone got some Husker Cliff Notes that I could read of the last 5 days?

Easy. We have a really crappy football program that just hired a great coach that is bringing all the best up and coming coaches with him to build it into a power house that's going to go to Colorado next fall to paint CU's stadium red and cheer when our new coach kicks the crap out of Prime Time's team in Prime Time.....and our ex coach was in jail.
Oh.....and all this at a basketball school. Who woulda thunk it?

Brisket smoking advice?
I’ve only smoked a couple briskets before. They turned pretty good but, after watching some YouTube vids, thinking about doing a couple things different. 1- I’ve always done them fat cap up but going to do this one fat side down. 2- I’ve wrapped in foil but this time going to use pink butcher paper and pour some smoked wagyu beef tallow on the meat side as I wrap it. Any comments? @BigRedBuster?

@JJ Husker What was the internal temp when you pulled it off? Did you test the temp both in the point and flat?

All sounds good. But, I would be careful getting to high internally. If you get that high, it probably will just shred when you try to slice it. I would pull it at 190-195 and let it rest about 20 minutes before slicing. I typically wrap mine at around 150-160. But, try that temp and see what happens. No matter what, I'm sure you will have good results.
Another tip that many competitors do is to inject it with beef broth before cooking. It helps keep the internal from drying out.
