  1. We have this crap going on and the political idiots keep talking about insurance premiums. The insurance companies don't give a crap if a bottle of doxycycline costs $20 or $1,849. They just pass those costs onto us as higher premiums. The insurance company down the street is being charged the same amount so who cares? And people wonder why we are spending 2.5 times more for procedures or drugs than other developed countries. Trump rants on and on about stopping the insurance companies from making a killing off of the ACA. Fine...great....I'm all for that. BUT....that's not where the biggest problem is.
  2. Wow....no wonder this kid never made it.
  3. They have continual relationships with agents just like pro players.
  4. Personally, I would trust Nebraska ex players and reporters that very well might have some type of connection or relationship with Frost more than some random message board poster who claims he conveniently knows people in both athletic departments.
  5. Well....isn’t this thread interesting tonight. Im sure frost fad told his agent what jobs he’s interested in and possibly where he prefers. The agent is working behind the scene ax while frost does his job.....very well.
  6. Discuss it....don’t brag about it ....if that makes sense. Then renember, there will always be that idiotic Iowa fan that can’t handle it. Dont let let them drag you to their level. After all, all you are doing is discussing college football. After tge the Hawkeye fan gets pissy and walks away. Just smile and enjoy it. BTW.... after living in Des monies for 15 years, I grew to like ISU. Glad you’re seeing some success.
  7. Christmas is right at the top for me with thanksgiving, New Years and Easter. St Patrick’s Day is in the group right after that with July 4th. Valentine’s Day wouldn’t even be in my list. Stupid day.
  8. You do realize Nebraska is not in a normal recruiting situation.....right? At at this point, I don’t consider any of our commits committed till the new coach talks to them and they recommit. I hate coaching changes.
  9. OK...here is blatant proof of a poll that a majority of the respondents were women list of holidays by popularity. Only a woman would put Valentine's Day above St. Patrick's Day.
  10. Meh....I'm still enjoying the season. Not nearly as much as I would if we had a good team. But...I still like watching. I've pretty much put all aspirations of major changes off till the end of the season. That allows me to just enjoy the games as is and not worry about who is coaching, what changes are being made, what changes are going to be made....etc. I'm confident they will be made, so I'll just patiently wait till then to see how it falls out.
  11. It's one of the most important questions modern society and religion must face.
  12. It's going to be interesting to see how this is sold to the masses. Are they going to claim your tax rate is lower, but in reality, you are going to be paying more taxes because of this change?
  13. On the 500th anniversary of what happened, I'll point out that it's interesting you say that while saying you grew up in a church that is named after the person who started it.....not God or Jesus.
  14. Actually, he has done it more and more the last 4 games and it's a major part of why he is playing better.
  15. All of these situations need to be investigated to an extent somewhere between what Niger will be and what Benghazi was.
  16. I had a discussion with a very good friend whose brother is/was special forces in the middle east. He is a huge Trump guy and I....obviously am not. So, we have interesting discussions. The other day, he brought up a conversation he had with his brother. Supposedly, the belief throughout the special forces is that if we really wanted to defeat ISIS in Syria, all we would need is around 25,000 special forces on the ground and have the Generals turn them loose. He told me that Obama required his personal signature on every mission. So, when they saw something needed to be done, it needed to be sent up the chain and then back down. Now, Trump has given the Generals permission to make these decisions and it's one reason why ISIS is being defeated now. I say this with absolutely no first hand knowledge, but, I do trust my friend that he did have this conversation with his brother. All that said, I have a very uneasy feeling about all these operations in various countries no matter where we feel like we want to go. It's like we don't recognize any sovereign nation anymore and believe we can just do whatever we want. And...this isn't just a Trump thing. It's been going on a long time.
  17. At least this is what they are saying.
  18. What stunts are you talking about? The Purdue defenders basically ran straight ahead past our blockers. And....I understand the TE isn't the biggest issue....but, he is a big one.
  19. Same play with the run. It looks to me like the TE needs to be crossing the line sooner....and once he gets there, has no clue how to block.
