not sure if i would call it jumping, cross is never gonna be an everydown back in this offense he just doesnt have the skill set of the other rb's on the roster i dont ever see him being more than a short yardage back or some one to line up in an i-formation a pound the rock to run the clock out

i think Eric Martin could be a beast as a 3-4 OLB he's just learning how to be a pass rusher and still did really well he could be a steal in one of the later rounds

if he test well than he might have a shot all the nfl scouts seem to care about these days is your 40 time and how many reps you do in the bench press all it takes is one team to fall in love with his numbers

i've been a die hard husker fan my whole life but i just cant understand how some people can say some of these things about a highschool kid they have never met

no way burkhead goes that high coming off a injury and because there is just so many good running backs available in the draft guys like Morris for the redskins was a 6th rounder and since its more of a passing leage now not very many RB's go as early as they used to if he gets drated he'll be a second day guy If this happens it means he either went in the 2nd or 3rd round. Now i don't see Rex going that high but I think he gets drafted. I look at him as a danny woodhead but only better. And since it is a passing league now teams look for backs who they can split out and can catch the ball and i definitely think Rex can do that at the next level. my bad thats right the draft is like three weeks long now

Stafford and Rex have the best chance at being drafted, maybe Compton not sure how well he played during his senior bowl but if that could help his chances anf if he goes to the combine and does well his chances will go up cotton and reed will get free agent deals and i think cotton could suprise some people if he can find a run first team that needs a blocking tighend

I kind of understand the McWilson situation, and honestly I'm not worried about losing him.. but this game that Walker is playing... Come on Man! Don't play our coaches with "I'm fully committed to you" twice, and then say I'm still deciding. Just be honest with our coaches. I agree he hasnt gone about in the best way but this is a highschool kid they change their minds every ten seconds about everything this kind of stuff just doesnt suprise me there is plenty of recruits that play games or cant make up their minds or change their minds just wait it out no need to get upset and wish the kid good luck where ever he decides to play....but i do understand why fans get upset it is disappointing to loose a commit so close to NSD

i'm glad the coaches are not as sensative as some of the fans why would we cut ties with a kid who is having a tough time making what could be the most important and difficult decison of his life to this point, has he gone about it in the best way no probably not but this kid and most of the recruits we go after didnt grow up die hard nebraska fans like most of us some of them may go back and fortha bit on what decision to make he has a bunch of big name schools promising him the world i cant imagine how difficult this must be if i was 17 or 18 i cant say i wouldnt get caught up in the recruiting process. i hope we get him and McWilson if we dont thats to bad but good luck to them both

Not sure how we used to but we got the best player out of AZ this year, Siesay and Moss last year and Peat the year before that. Granted, two of those are JUCOs but we've been getting some of the best players in the state. didnt really think about the jucos good point hopefully Moss and those guys will be as good as prince and Hagg, marcel jones wasnt halfbad either

Nebraska doesnt seem to be pulling kids out of arizona like it used to, didnt Beck even coach at a Arizona high school? i like seeing kids from my state end up huskers hope they can get that going again since ASU and UA do a terrible job keeping kids instate

Is there any proof that Taylor Martinez is bothered by fan criticism? people keep talking about how bad Taylors been treated by fans and i dont think he or any athlete gives a crap what a bunch of arm chair quarterbacks say on a message board or that call into a radio station unless he was getting mistreated by the coaching staff or players i dont think he would care in every interview i've seen with him he seems real laid back and very confident

what are your expectations for Nebraska basketball? what would you guys consider a success for Miles? is getting to the NIT in a couple years good enough appearing in the tournament every 4 years good enough? i dont follow college basketball that much amd oly really watch march madness but if Nebraska can get into the NIT with an appearance in march madness every 4-5 years and i would be happy i just dont ever see nebraska ever getting deep into the tournament like sweet 16 or elite 8

This would be my guess. His family, including Taylor, has said for a long time they support/wish him to be here. scout shows him with a offer from Michigan State and that he is visiting them next week, rivals doesnt have any of that listed does anyone know if this is true?

if i'm not mistaken a coach isnt allowed to conact a recruit committed to the school he left unless the recruit initiated the contact maybe its not all Marrow's fault maybe McWilson called him up if thats the case what else is he supposed to do say no i dont want you at Kentucky
