  1. why would you set your hopes so high just hope for a 9 win seanon then if a 11 or 12 win season actually happens you could be even happier also if we hap a top 25 run defense i would be the happiest fan in the world
  2. whats the reason for the lack of offers? did most schools back off because they asume he's a Nebraska lock
  3. i cant wait until all les miles terrible coaching decisions catch up with him and he has a couple of bad seasons then maybe TJ and Pelini can start to grab these kind of recruits from louisiana
  4. i was just guessing i dont have anything to back it up i was just throeing a idea out there
  5. i didnt say it affected our offensive performance i was just guessing as to the reason nebraska is having difficulty getting Olinemen
  6. FWIW Michigan has the #1 OL class Ya, Dan Samuelson has his work cut out for him. I just don't understand the move on his part, but if he wants too be closer too home than it is hard too blame him.... I imagine the staff will get some late pickups, but it is hard to understand why the staff has had so much trouble recruiting Olinemen this year, given our success in the past of recruiting them (even if they havent panned out).... maybe the reason nebraska's having trouble recruiting Olinemen is because of the ones that havent panned out, every other coach that is talking to the recruits nebraska is trying to get probably tells them how we started 3 former walk ons on the offensive line this year while a bunch of scholarship guys ride the bench while others have transferred
  7. As the last I knew there were no plans to move Brown there full time. how big is Brown? i think they only list him around 210 and that doesnt seem nearly big enough for a move to DE
  8. i'm sure a lot of fans and coaches say this about there team but its easier said than done there is a reason there are only a few teams that can hold a team under 15 points a game while scoring nearly 40 points a game like alabama did this year its because it hard to be great on both side of the ball not impossible just saying it seems like your making it seem to simple, but i like the optimism its good to read posts from a positive fan
  9. we cant get pushed down the Ohio totem poll by the 3rd best team in Kentucky, they lost to western kentucky and got ZERO conference wins if we get out recruited by these guys it would be sad i dont think it will happen Nebraska will always be more relevent than Kentucky in football
  10. all any team can do is beat the teams on their schedule and few teams have done a better job than that than BSU over the last 10 years or so, i'd like to see BSU play in the PAC 12
  11. Barrett Ruud is having a rough day

    1. Count 'Bility

      Count 'Bility

Dont know that any linebacker in the NFL wouldnt have, they way NE was getting the matchups they wanted.

    2. zoogs

      zoogs

I wouldn't blame any LB for getting a little beat by Shane Vereen on a deep route.

  12. Rivals still says he's a soft verbal to UW, any chance we can get him to visit?
  13. LSU just got a commit from a 2014 TE, since his offer is a greyshirt this has to help Nebraska's chances right?
  14. Actually I think you have it backwards. I read somewhere that Walker is an outside guy who could possibly play a little in the slot. Gladney is an outside guy like QE didnt gladney have a growth spurt and is like 6-4 now?
  15. if Kelly leaves any chance the coaching staff gives him a call?
  16. You answered your own question. Most teams don't have 1 of those. Then if you throw in Taariq Allen, Jordan Westerkamp, and anybody who comes in as true freshmen. Yes, we are stacked at WR. Plus, it never hurts to have some of your best athletes on defense. From what I remember, people were pretty damn satisfied when that was the case with Hagg, Prince, Fonzo, Asante, O'Hanlon, Suh, Crick, and Gomes all on the defense. It was definitely more pleasing than watching the defense that we rolled out this year. enunwa is gone next year and if bell keeps progressing like he did from year one to year 2 he could be gone as well keep moore at wr if thats his best position and actually develop the talent thats on that side of the ball but if moore is better on defense than move him but everything thats been said makes it seem like he's gonna be a beast at WR If you're implying Kenny Bell leaving early to the NFL, don't be ridiculous. He is a good player and all, I love the kid, but he is no where near an early round draft pick that would indicate a junior coming out for the draft. how do you know that for sure he hasnt even played his junior year yet? i didnt say he would leave only that he might, if he puts up 1000+ receiving yard next year i dont think thats to ridiculous to think that it could happen and to get some depth at the position

  18. i hope that the pay raise that beck got motivates the other coaches to go out and do the best job possible, not saying they dont already
  19. i dont want to sound like i'm bashing fisher he's played better this season i thought and he's been no trouble off the field i just hope that if there is another player at his position that can do a better job fisher doesnt get the starting spot because he's a 6th year senior on his last go around, if he's the best guy then play him if he isnt put the best guy on the field and have fisher show him the ropes in practice
  20. where they thinking about moving ciante? he plays nickle not one of the outside corner positions I don't think Ciante moves to be honest. i agree
  21. where they thinking about moving ciante? he plays nickle not one of the outside corner positions
  22. Nebraska is better than Kentucky come on Kevin, i hope he stays commited because i dont wont to read everyone's posts that said we found a diamond in the ruff recruit change their mind and say he's a project player that we didnt really need or want
  23. he'll start too because he "knows the defense"
  24. that sounds so easy just recruit a bunch of guys that have the size and smarts to play out of highschool only sign 4 and five star guys that are starters there freshman year because there are so many of them that you can get a full 25 recruit class a year of just them
