  1. Official verification? http://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/life-in-the-red/cotton-s-duties-altered-slightly-pelini-says/article_24fde2de-778e-11e2-aeb2-0019bb2963f4.html
  2. Josh Peterson ‏@joshtweeterson “Pelini was accompanied on the home visit by Cornhuskers recruiting coordinator Terry Joseph and tight ends coach Barney Cotton.” Brian Towle ‏@btbowling .. Oh really now?? RT @HuskerInsanity: Barney Cotton to coach TE? 4th paragraph: http://tinyurl.com/bsm8f25 #Huskers "... #Huskers Recruiting coordinator Terry Joseph and tight ends coach Barney Cotton". http://bit.ly/14MO4Dc Wonder if this is true? Erik Burkhart ‏@HuskerInsanity Barney Cotton to coach TE? This article is from January but read the 4th paragraph: http://tinyurl.com/bsm8f25 #Huskers Looks like they all cite the same source, but hopefully officials announce something today about the move.
  3. All sorts of speculation, but the Twitterverse is talking like Barney will be moving from OL Coach to TE Coach. Anybody have an inside scoop on this?
  4. Sounds like he's sticking with his commitment to ULL.
  5. 4.4 according to Rivals page. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Devin-Scott-141967
  6. I know he's a long ways away from deciding, but the fact that his Twitter display pic is him in a Gamecock jersey just sucks. Can't stand Spurrier.
  7. Would've loved to see what Heard could do with more carries. He'll be a great back wherever he goes. Just hypothesizing: It's been said that the players who don't understand the playbook won't see as much playing time as those that do. What if that's the issue? Heard is a natural talent when the ball is in his hands, but I'm curious how well he knew blocking schemes, where to lineup, etc. Also, it concerns me quite a bit that he wouldn't have spoken with the coaches prior to announcing his transfer. Maybe he did? Maybe he just told a close family member and they leaked it? However, if he hasn't gone to the coaches yet to discuss matters, that says, to me, that he doesn't know how to address the problem. As a whole, it's not ideal to lose a quality back like Heard, but I'm a little more concerned that our momentum seems to be trending downward within the last week or so (Dom Walker, McWilson, now Heard). At the end of the day, I hope that Nebraska continues to search for team players that want the competition to make themselves better.
  8. Peyton Newell #40 ‏@p_newell It's the good life and it only get better Good Life=Nebraska? Hope so.
  9. After his recent tweets, my question was answered for me.
  10. To add to that hypothesis... Peyton Newell #40 ‏@p_newell One of my childhood dreams will come true tomorrow
  11. Visit went well, but he's still visiting with Auburns coaches tomorrow.
  12. If we miss on Clark and lose Walker, is there a chance we offer him? Badet and Kevin Maurice seem to be good friends and would appear that Badet would like to come here. Just hypothesizing.
  13. @michaelbruntz: Per @SWiltfong247 Nebraska has received a commitment from Top100 JUCO OT Matt Finnin. More at http://t.co/e0njUAya Seconding Amacc's comment.
  14. James Clark ‏@GotEmCoach2 So Coach Fisher From Nebraska Comes in My Room and I Had To Give Him a Beating in Madden Take that FWIW.
