Called this commit to Wisconsin back in January. It was the most obvious recruitment result of all time.

This thread is for conversation on the recruitment of Bollers. If you are looking for recent posts unrelated to this topic, you will find them here.

Frazier is too low, but going by stats you could argue he's too high. My two things with him are after his freshman year, he lost one game. He was co-mvp of that game, and between the missed field goal and refs should've won. And no one else will ever be mvp of 3 straight title games - I know he shared it in '93, still counts.
It's impossible to truly rank these guys across positions and era, but they are all worthy inclusions in the top 150 for sure.
If Tommie won the Heisman, I wonder if he would be ranked higher. Accolades beget accolades.

26 has been the number all along. They signed 24.

If you also read the tea leaves with scholarship numbers, Betts being allowed to sign scream that Mo is not expected to be on scholarship next semester
There are two open spots for this class still, and that is with Betts and Washington. Those leaves you have might not be tea

Time to make a run through the banned thread and see who else needs to be allowed to come back. Possible great times ahead.

It's cool but almost all programs other than us view it as a sham....saying we technically aren't 'sold out' which is kind of true.

Husker fans have never shied away from the concept of spending money for the program, if it lead to more success. I would guess any efforts that would lead to a competitive advantage for Nebraska will be embraced by the vast majority of Husker Nation.

I noticed during the game. Seems like a trivia topic, but time to get our jimmies in a rustle.

That was disappointing to watch. 2AM looked at a wide open #19 then threw into heavy coverage over the middle leading to a pick.

Luke Griffin? Never heard of him. But, really, cool to see Gifford making plays.

Actually, young people today assume that almost EVERY image they see is a Photoshopped alternate reality. It is even sometimes hard to convince them that actual images are NOT Photoshopped. So I think you are fears are a wee bit overblown.
If you want to worry about something, worry about the fact that we have no problem recruiting offensive superstars, because Scott Frost is a Certified Offensive Genius. However, we need a similar genius on the defensive side of the ball to recruit defensive superstars. SF did not help his cause with his quote last year "I don't call defense".
Well, I would argue you are worrying about nothing when you look at the individual recruiting ranks of players from last class under Frost.

Staying on topic (i.e., Nixon), the stigma of UNL sitting in the middle of the cornfield is real and affects national recruiting. That is why nearly every recruit not from Nebraska mentions how surprised they are that Lincoln is an actual city when they visit. Honestly, this is such a common talking point, I am not sure why you feel the need to debate it.

So here is the problem with this image. It depicts the stadium emerging from the middle of a cornfield, which is exactly the stereotype that Nebraska battles against in recruiting. Heck, I won't be surprised if some prospects think that is a real picture.
All that context aside, I personally like it. Just may convey the wrong message.

I like your typo.
Notre Dame = lesswhere, not elsewhere.
Oops. Same difference

Seems like an equivalent prospect to Watts. This is one of the things that gives this staff good recruiting success. They have multiple options, never being left in the cold when one recruit commits less where.

Considering he unofficially visited in February if we could get him to take an official visit for a game this year it might give us a shot.
Since he decommited from OU after taking an OV to A&M, my guess is Nebraska will need to get an OV during the summer and soon.

Frost has been getting wins in-state in many situations where Nebraska was far behind. The early success of this staff lessens the sting of this loss. Good luck to the guy. Time to move on.

Hope that can translate to the gridiron this fall. Could have some speed on the field.
Woody- 10.4
johnson,nance,Houston- 10.6
Nance looked really thin during the spring game. Might need to add some strength before he can be an effective perimeter blocker, which is critical for this offense.

Added nothing repeated Frost and stole comments from a Mich/Mich State rivalry.
It not even a comparable analogy. Michigan St is the little brother to Michigan because they are in the same state. If you wanted to extent that comparison to Nebraska and Wisconsin (which does not work because of the historic difference in these two programs), it should be that Nebraska is the kid neighbor who follows Wisconsin around. Just lazy journalism, even for a hit job.

... We must REALLY not like our depth on the line if we're willing to add two spots late. That is concerning.
Depth for 2020 and beyond. Graduating a lot after the 2019 season.

Serious List of New Head Coach

Maybe Nebraska should hire someone off of the Nick Saban staff. It seems to work out for many programs who do, Michigan St is a recent relevant example.
