  1. Even if true, doesn't mean anything will succeed. I know plenty of people that vote Democrat or Republican that would not back it. Back in the 90s I worked with dudes at a defense contractor that would talk about the new world order and very specific plans on how it would come to be. They would point to publications, talk about how we will all willingly give up our freedoms when things go south with a crisis (they might have something there), and even interpret the stinking symbols on the dollar bill. That was all supposed to happen before 2000. I think the only thing that happened was a gold buying pyramid scheme. The Amway of end of the world prepers. I bet if I found one of them now, they would tell me the pandemic was a planned dry run. I am still more concerned about external threats....although I am starting to believe we could just tear ourselves apart.
  2. He attempted to sue his way back into a bunch of recounts and failed. Its not the first time that has been attempted or suggested. Then a bunch of Qanon conspiracy theorists tried to self fulfill their own 'prophecies' and ranscked the capital. Trump was more than happy to to let them try. That didn't work either, and most were probably caught and punished. The right has similar conspiracy theories about how the left is pushing the US to Marxism or communism or socialism. Whatever it is, it's gonna fail to take over, but it could tear the country in two. Now that said, I had no idea that Antifa or QAnon were a thing until 2020.
  3. This sounds like the QAnon belief that Trump would be declared president in January of 2021. Look how that turned out. Or maybe the New World Order that was supposed to be ushered in 20+ years ago. Actually, it's those dang Free Masons.
  4. Not sure what to say about this. Maybe these pro Palestinian protests are going to boil over into something else.
  5. There's the 'roll over and show your belly' UofM that M fans expect to see, and I mentioned earlier. I saw a post that the new M DB coach, Clicksdale, deleted his X account today. Maybe he is the staff member that knew what was going on.
  6. Hopefully they are not vindictive and pay the departing schools what they need, but I think they should get all the leftovers. That might keep them alive for awhile.
  7. Well this has to be worth some money..good for them
  8. They are not going to be the Big2 for much longer. And Michigan hasn't been part of that since Rich Rod showed up, although they act like it. What surprises me is that Michigan isn't known for fighting stuff like this.... At least not to their fanbase. The Fanbase thinks M just rolls over all the time and was going to again. This new President seems to have other ideas. It will be interesting to watch.
  9. I thought you might enjoy this. He's not wrong. The fans that actually graduated from the university have an air of superiority about them and probably actually look down on the fans that are not graduates. https://www.on3.com/college/michigan-wolverines/news/paul-finebaum-calls-michigan-the-most-obnoxious-fanbase-in-america/ “This is the most obnoxious fanbase in America,” Finebaum said. “This is a fanbase that literally think the world revolves around the University of Michigan football program. You can’t judge a university by those who tweet about it, but I’m going to.
  10. They could not file for a TRO until the suspension was issued. It came out at 3:30pm ish on Friday while the team was on the plane, and Michigan had a judge ready for the TRO, but the Big10 wanted to object to the restraining order. The hearing could not be held in time on Friday afternoon. At least that is how I read it. Joe Klatt, who was calling the game, has some timelines starting around the 24:34 mark if you are interested. However, my point to Jaws was.... if Michigan is granted the TRO, it would put Harbaugh on the sideline for The Game. If they had been granted the TRO last Friday, it would expire before the game, unless they can get an extension. Of course, I have only ever been in traffic court... The Big10 could turn around and suspend him from the championship game, if Michigan can make it that far. It seems like the Big10 could also levy a bowl ban. Seems odd to forfeit the money for the conference from playing in a good bowl game. Revenue is shared. Wouldn't it be interesting if Michgan beats OSU and makes the CFP, gets banned, and OSU is sitting number 5 to take their place. If Michigan loses, no one will care except for maybe the extra practices.
  11. Let me re-post for you. The claim is that the Big10 hired a local lawyer to object to the TRO, but the hearing could not be scheduled on a holiday. Regardless, the point is that I also read the TRO could be for two weeks, which if granted, would put Harbaugh on the sideline for the OSU game. Do you know that supposedly Pete Thamel broke the suspension news on Friday before Michigan was notified. That is why the Michigan AD went all ballistic.
  12. I am sure someone knew. Not sure at what level. Either way, the statements coming out of Michigan are pretty emphatic about keeping their coach and they are lawyered up for a fight. If I had to guess, Harbaugh will be on the sidelines for the final two games. Then the TRO will expire and they could keep him out of the championship game should they make it. Not sure about the bowl games.
  13. I was just joking anyway. I figured the two week TRO would be granted and run out before the game, but I guess the big10 used some local lawyer that could not make the hearing and it was delayed until this Friday. If they get a two week TRO, he will be on the sidelines. I am sure FOX wants Harbaugh on the sidelines for the intrigue.
  14. Not in the least. Not to mention, I should say that folks claim to lawyers on that board. I have no idea if they are for real.
  15. I suspect the reason Michigan is fighting this is because the staff had no idea what Stalions was doing. Poggi was on staff the prior 3 years. Everything will flush out in the end. I BET the Big10 ends up looking bad.

    B1G Week 11

No Stalions, no Harbaugh, no signs. M wins. Edit: coach Moore got away with an F-Bomb and an S-bomb in the post-game interview. The Big10 will probably suspend him for the rest of the season.
  17. This is interesting. Although the dude is a off. https://www.foxnews.com/world/north-korea-closing-embassies-world-suspected-financial-crisis
  18. I had no idea antisemitism ran so deep in these schools. The same UPenn got lights how last night. https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.timesofindia.com/world/us/anti-semitic-slogans-projected-on-university-of-pennsylvania-buildings/amp_articleshow/105130235.cms
  19. There are a lot of lawyers on that board. I am not sure if they good ones. There are alot of Grammer Police on the board too. It's really annoying.
  20. Me too. It will be fun to have Harbaugh there for Ryan Day's last game for OSU.
  21. It's more about what is the proper punishment. If it is forfeit all games and awards for the past 2.5 years I would fight it. If it's a show cause for Stalions and some punishment for the head coach because the NCAA can hold them completely responsible, that seems fine. If the head coach punishment is indefinite suspension I would fight that too. The NCAA punishment would be for illegally scouting future opponents. The Big10 is a sportsmanship penalty. No idea what that has been for that in the past.
  22. Haley is growing on me. Ramaswamy is a used car salesman. Haley once again mixed it up with Vivek Ramaswamy, who accused her of being "d!(k Cheney in 3-inch heels." "I'd first like to say they're 5-inch heels, and I don't wear them unless you can run in them," Haley shot back. The two also sparred after Ramaswamy brought Haley’s adult daughter into a discussion about TikTok, accusing Haley of hypocrisy as she preaches the dangers of the Chinese social media app. "Leave my daughter out of your voice," she said, before following up with, "You’re just scum."
  23. In this case, I am not asking about whether Michigan broke rules. I suspect there is enough evidence to link Stalions to paying people to video tape games for the purpose of helping him get better at stealing signs, and Michigan used him for that skill set. This beaks the NCAA rule for scouting or paying people to scout future opponents in the same season. Now, for question my last question: Notice I didn't mention the accusation that OSU and Rutgers shared what the had developed with Purdue. Coaches would share game tape all the time when I played. There have been comments on X that suggest this signal stealing was a huge advantage for M over other teams, but some of those teams are accused of having Michigan's signals too. So where is the advantage? Maybe it is that Stalions had more material to work with so it didn't take him as long to figure out the signals?
  24. Did I accuse someone of something? I think I am just posting what other boards are saying (the bloggers and insiders could be wrong about a lot of it). What I think I know for sure is that Stallions is an odd duck and trust fund baby that paid people to film games and used that video to help him get better at stealing signs for Michigan. This violated the NCAA rule against scouting or paying people to scout future opponents in the same season. NCAA is investigating. Big10 served M with the allegations and M responded. M is also leaking their own allegations of sign stealing done by other teams. M probably has no intention of self punishment like they did for the cheeseburgers, and it seems like they are gearing up to fight it.
  25. https://www.freep.com/story/sports/college/2023/11/08/sign-stealing-ncaa-helmet-communications-sideline-tablets-in-college-football-bowl-games/71501460007/ Looks like approval for helmet comms is starting.
