  1. Chinander should be cleaning out his office at the end of this year.
  2. "So....are you going to go find people who liked Washington at the beginning of the season because he's been sucking lately and point it out to everyone?" "There was no "blanket statement" by me or implied in my response to you." Moving along.
  3. Here’s an idea, don’t assume what people think in a blanket argument. I think Mo is absolutely not the problem. We lead the B10 in sacks and penalties allowed. My assertion is our interior is the cause of it from the beginning until now. That’s it.
  4. Go watch the tape dude. Lot of standing around in South Alabama and Colorado.
  5. Look, all season the entire offensive line has been crap. I was referring to the amount of times ALL season long Boe Wilson and Trent have been standing at the end of plays watching their man make the play. It’s every game this season and the interior is the weakest point right now.
  6. Hixson getting absolutely bowled over last night in front of everyone. I like the guy but that was flat out embarrassing.
  7. 3 man rush gets to Noah, most sacks, most turnovers, most penalties. That is ALL on the coaching.
  8. It’s painfully obvious our UCF scheme is getting rocked. One adjustment would be nice.
  9. Still haven’t had a decent defense since Suh. Scott needs to get in these guys faces because this is division 3 level defense.
  10. You know, I really want to say a year from now when the chips fall and we have other conditions of our team fixed that he will. The talent gap (should) be fixed, the fundamentals (should) be better, the game experience will be better, but the game adjustments are the one thing we should not be worried about right now and (some) coaches are flat out in over their head with schemes. Tough to compete when their coaches are coordinating attacks on our teams weaknesses.
  11. There were a couple plays on the first (or second) Ohio State drive, where all the DB’s cleared out on our left side and gave fields a free run to the outside. Another time Bootle was motioning in to the middle shadowing someone and the receiver pointed at him knowing he had him beat. That screams a problem with our scheme and there has to be adjustments to this defense. Ohio State studied the crap out of our defense and came ready to exploit faults. It’s not all on the coaches, but dang it. Adapt or next man the next couple of years for us to continue to grow. Maybe adopt what OSU is doing?
  12. Adrian did not improve AT ALL from last year. The guy paid way too much attention to all the hype and love he was getting and did not enhance his game.
  13. Adrian needs to calm down and throw more accurately, both interceptions are all on him.
  14. “Hey Gabby, who’s jersey is that?” ”One of our players Dads recently passed away and I wanted to honor him and his memory for his son.” ”That’s great, that’s a very classy thing to do.” That is about the extent of this that I expect on the show. Kudos to Christian and Gabby.
  15. Biggest difference of SF and TO, one taught ball security and penalty free football first and foremost and the other teaches it as an afterthought.
  16. Throw the ******* ball to Wan’Dale. Run game will not start without a passing attack.
  17. Run game is pathetic save for one long run. Offensive play calling lacking.
  18. I predict a first half blowout punctuated with a second half close game and complacency that comes back to bite the team. This team needs to show it can play 4 quarters and prove the stigma wrong.
  19. Our WR and interior OL play have been suspect. I counted at least 10 times Boe and Trent standing and watching the linebacker/defensive tackle make the play and ruin any offensive rhythm. We are another 1-2 years out from sustained success early in the seasons. There is still a lot of football left this year but someone has dropped the ball with fundamentals and assignments.
  20. The most frustrating thing is the disconnect that is pretty evident between the players and coaches on the field. Up 17-0 at the start of the half, we played predictable keep away until Colorado adjusted and knocked on the door. Then we opened it up with a handful of nice playcalls and answered a couple of their scores. The fourth and OT it’s like we forgot that the other team made adjustments and thought what worked once will always work and paid the price. The coaches have lacked halftime adjustments and that is the biggest thing IMHO. Execution is not lacking, it’s where we are positioned and when we switch into play conservatively vs. go finish a team off.
  21. Anyone have any sort of idea on when he might be back? I know it’s not our place to ask about injuries and the like, but my goodness. We don’t have anyone else at Nebraska besides one guy who can consistently kick touchbacks and hit 40 yard field goals?
