Was it Rhule pushing for Sims or Satterfield? I agree the decision to bring in Sims was a bad one but I am hopeful they will have more time to consider better options for next season.
With a decent QB we would be winning the BIG West now. I realize we will not have 2 divisions next year, but leading Nebraska in the very visible BIG would be a step up for some non-P5 QBs.
I know I said this earlier in this thread, but Nebraska needs to go after Kaidon Salter. He plays the exact style that Rhule wants and is a winner. I recommend watching this video on mute unless you are a hip hop fan.

I knew South Carolina fans wanted Satterfield gone, but I never realized he also sucked as a head coach and was previously fired.

Satterfield needs to go. He is the highest paid assistant in Nebraska history and cost us the game today at the end. He called 2 pass plays when we were in FG range...had we run it 3 times and settled for a FG, we go up 3 and leave less time on the clock for Maryland.
How long is his contract?
Here are the top QBs so far in 2023. In looking at the top 20 on the list, I could see a couple guys who might be willing to move to the BIG. Oregon States QB and the QB for Liberty (Kaidon Salter) who appears to be a good fit for Rhules offense. Salter has 19 TDs and 3 INTs and is a sophomore.

Michigan State appears to be the more talented and physical team. This just shows how pathetic the BIG West is. Indiana is still beating Wisconsin in the 4th.
Michigan State playing a clean game which is exposing all our weaknesses...bad O-line, QB that cannot pass, recievers that drop catches, D line that is getting manhandled and a punter who belongs back in high school.
