GBR!
  3. Im N. This is going to happen. We just need to decide on some logistics. Will post more details later this weekend. But just to gauge interest, would you guys rather A} tailgate outside and pay $20 for all your food/drinks ... or B} meet at a bar and buy your own stuff individually?
  4. I'll start with a few best wing joint -- The Watering Hole best place to watch if you cant get N: The N Zone, Barrys best free parking -- directly south of the stadium in the neighborhoods - only a 10 min walk which takes you right thru O st for a few cold ones & the heart of campus best pre game -- Sidetracks
  5. These are actually in production -- will post details soon! Thanks for asking.
  6. It's actually no problem - just let us know what you'd like it changed to - assuming it's not taken.
  7. Thanks hexum - I'd be up for considering an integration. I was actually planning to design a similar "huskerspace" type site, but if we could just join forces it would be that much simpler for both of us. If you could, have him contact me at admin@huskerboard.com to discuss.
  8. not asking for much are you? I really dont. Well I had to settle for a room at the GB cheerleader bed & breafkfast. oh well at least it will be a good location.
  9. Thats very interesting, thanks for the suggestion. Slacker has become our IB mod/hack guru, so I'll run it by him and see if he can figure it out.
  10. Thanks for the feedback guys. Yeah, it stretches out just fine on larger resolutions -- unfortunately that "gallery" is hard-coded into the skin somewhere, and I can't quite figure out how to move the link. What makes things worse is the gallery isnt even active, b/c we still need some type of application that Im waiting on my system admin to install. ......... hopefully sooner than never.
  11. Hopefully I can get some advice from those familiar with Wisconsin. Im going to the Bears-Packers game this Oct with my Dad & brothers, and was wondering what the best surrounding community is to find a B&B in. So far I've found these towns which are fairly near GB: De Pere B&B's - 4 miles Appleton B&B's - 23 miles Kewaunee B&B's - 25 miles Manitowoc B&B's - 28 miles Two Rivers B&B's - 29 miles Algoma B&B's - 29 miles Which of these would you recommend, or others? We'd like it to be within about an hr of Lambeau and preferably on the south side of GB since we're traveling from Omaha -- and near some good fishing lakes. Any advice would be appreciated. And if you happen to have a source for tickets for the Oct 7 game, please let me know. Thanks!
  12. haha, well done. So whats Lo Lo doin back in Lincoln?
  13. Could it be integrated into the board, or would members have to leave the site? If the answer is the former, then we would be up for it, if it was the latter I think we would prefer for members to stay on the board as much as possible. its the only way our advertisers will continue to pay our hosting bills. and w/out them, there is no board. know what im sayin?
  14. Done. thanks for the reminder. sometimes its ez to overlook small details, so I appreciate it.
  15. He was actually our top pass blocker out of all IBs last season. He was inserted on most all 3rd downs to protect Zac Taylor, and b/c he has reliable hands. The main reason for this IMO is b/c he was more seasoned / better at reading packages - plus he had an NFL-esque body vs college players. So just give him time to get comfortable with reading the new schemes and let him put on some real NFL muscle, and he'll be just fine as a pb in the League. U guys got a good one - and one of the hardest workers we've seen since Cory Ross & Ahman.
  16. Ok, we havent forgot about this. Huskeraddict helped me design the shirt, and put some laws on for a demo. Check it out here: Front: http://www.huskerboard.com/shirts/front-test.png Back: http://i12.tinypic.com/4zm3uo8 Im not sure if these are the final laws we want to use or not. If anyone has other ideas, please post them. just remember they have to be fairly short - no more than about 8 words. Let us know what you think!
  17. Thanks for checkin in man, and everything you do for our country. Im sure someone will be able to help - just wanted to say welcome.
  18. 2007 Husker Football Schedule, Opponent Stats, Results etc. *Bookmark this one for reference - will be updated throughout the year. 1-Page Printable Husker Football Schedule *Print for your office wall or fridge and fill in the Ws along the way! Please let us know if you notice any broken links or errors. Thanks to AR Husker Fan for his help with these.
  19. Thanks for all the votes. And again you guys are all very talented and deserve a standing O. Ok now I gotta play bad cop here for a min .... pls remember that you can only vote once, even if you have multiple identities. And remember we can see your IP addresses -- so I'd hate for a banner to get DQ'd for pulling a George.. I mean ballot stuffing... I mean being Bush league. Please just be fair, since everyone worked so hard. Thanks!
  20. For those that didnt see my post in another thread, we're going to design a "husker man laws" t-shirt. So we need your input. Im sure you all remember the infamous thread started last yr by General Blackshirt - well what I'd like from everyone is a list of your favorite 10 laws that you want on the shirt. Post them in this thread, and we'll use the 10 laws that get the most overall requests. So look over the thread here, and pick out your favorites, or come up with some new ones, and post in this thread. We'd like to have the final 10 laws established by next Sun July 22, so we can get moving on designing these shirts to be ready by the 1st game!! http://www.huskerboard.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=13095
  21. Agreed! And then all who make it to the second round, will get SOME time as the banner, but the overall winner gets the most time....Reffering to the idea that we cycle banners in and out. Great idea. It has been decided.
  22. Nice grab Duster. The other services may be asleep at the wheel, but Huskerboard has him!! (at least we do now) http://www.huskerboard.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=16849 I'm going to close this thread, so please post add'l comments in the link above.

  24. College Football's Best "New" Rivalries Ohio State-Michigan. Texas-Oklahoma. USC-Notre Dame. These are the rivalries fans have come to expect greatness from each year through their decades of prominence. Even if neither team is in the hunt for the national championship (although both usually are), college football savants can still expect an exciting game fueled by intense emotion on both sides. While these rivalries continue to captivate the nation every autumn, new ones also emerge from time to time. The reconfigurations of conferences like the Big East have spawned fresh rivalries like West Virginia-Louisville, new coaches like Steve Spurrier at South Carolina have breathed new life into traditional conference matchups like South Carolina-Florida, and others have become must-see college football events because of consistently tight and exciting games each year. Rivals.com's Steve Megargee ranked his top five "new grudge matches" as follows: Louisville vs. West Virginia Auburn vs. LSU Texas A&M vs. Texas Tech Florida vs. South Carolina Kansas State vs. Nebraska These aren't the only hot new rivalries, however. What are your favorite "new" college football rivalries? What non-traditional rivalries are you most looking forward to in the fall? http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/si_blogs/...-rivalries.html
