    For as much guff as Dirk gets on here, at the end of the day, he's a phenomenal long-form story teller.  Great article about the '01 Nebraska CWS team.

      That's a really, really low bar. And McKewon is a better writer IMO, but I don't really read any of them much anymore.

      @RedDenver depends on what type of writing. 
       

      Dirk is fantastic on the long feature pieces that takes more thought and research. He’s actually very good.
