Has Anyone Really Been Far Even as Decided to Use Even Go Want to do Look More Like?

Would it be weird if a baseball coach just wore khakis and a polo instead of a uniform?
-
Hope @Saunders is doing well. I really liked the season preview stuff he would do.

Colorado has supposedly lost 33 scholarship players. They looked pretty small. Definitely going to try and go more 7 on 7 style this year.

Why can't it be Super Bowl Saturday? I would feel much better on Monday morning.
-
If I ever run for office I will have 3 items on my platform:
1) Super Bowl on a Saturday
2) Independence Day on the first Thursday in July and turn the following Friday into a "holiday" like Black Friday (The Declaration of Independence wasn't actually signed on July 4th like everyone wants you to believe. It was originally adopted on July 2nd and many didn't sign it until August.)
3) Trick or Treating always the last Saturday in October

Man, people in the media ripping on Stenson Bennet for being 25 and playing against 19 years old...interesting.

Anyone on HB get scammed by Adam Carriker and crew over Minnesota and/or Wisconsin suite tickets?
Reading some bad stories other places...
-
Carriker's website sold ticket packages to the MN/WI games. Included suite tickets, meet & greet with former Huskers, goodies (Yeti cooler, Nebraska meat package, HyVee gift cards, etc). $1000 for 2 tickets. Proceeds go to various Husker charities.
When people showed up to the MN game they were told suite tickets were no longer available and were given random tickets the group could find (including some in the MN section in upper North Stadium). Needless to say it was a cold game and many weren't dressed to be sitting outside for 4 hours. Everyone was also told that they would get a FULL REFUND and still all the goodies.
Same thing happened for WI game (except that people were told that Friday night the suite tickets were "gone").
Well its now 1.5 months later and no refunds and no goodies. The contacts/Carriker keep saying "its on its way" and passing the buck to someone else. There were even fake USPS tracking numbers that were given out that were supposedly the refund checks. I guess one of the local Omaha news channels will be doing a story on this soon.
There are a couple threads on both the On3 and Rivals boards of people who bought the packages giving all the details.

I've been basically non-existent online since Wednesday afternoon. Anyone got some Husker Cliff Notes that I could read of the last 5 days?

@BigRedBuster @Cdog923 Thanks guys
@admo I'm good. Was just in FL for my kid's soccer tournament and was fully engrossed in all that goes with that.

The return to Standard Time should be on November 1, the day after Halloween. That way everyone gets an extra hour of sleep after the long night of trick-or-treating.

Today is the 25th anniversary of the October snow storm that downed trees across Lincoln. We lived near 40th and D at the time. We were one of the final neighborhoods to have power restored, 11 days after the storm.

Which donkey told me how amazing Utah is??? Yeah...

Vala's Pumpkin Patch is quickly turning into the Disney of the Midwest.
Every year since 2016, my work has offered discounted tickets. They used to be $10 each. I just got an email today about the tickets. They're now discounted to $17.99/ticket for a weekday (full price is $19.99) and $34.99/ticket for the weekend (full price is $39.99).
So, for the amount of tickets I was going to buy, I can either save $18 for the weekday or $45 for the weekend. Obviously that's better than full price, but not by much when you consider how much things on the inside cost now, too. Just wild what that place has turned in to. I'm all for capitalism but... geesh.-
@Enhance No, I live a few hundred miles away.
I assume it is a pumpkin patch on steroids. We have a few of those here, they’re all free to get in, but then charge an arm and a leg once you get there for activities and food/drink.

Inside sources confirm that Trev has filed a restraining order against two Huskerboard posters.

I know GameDay isn't what it used to be, and Northwest and Nebraska isn't a big draw, but it's still BS they won't be in Dublin for week 0.

Question for the fathers of HB. When your kid graduated high school, did you buy your wife a present? And if so I’d love some suggestions.

Bill Moos handed out extensions like candy at Halloween. And then we ended up paying him $3M to go away.

Heading to Madison this weekend - anyonek know what their COVID rules are? StubHub keeps giving me a warning every time I look at tickets to be aware of their rules.

Yippee! Political ads are back!

Are hospitals getting a federal payment for each Covid-19 death?
-
@NUance What do you mean by a "government incentive to over- report"? Do you not think hospitals should be paid by Medicare for treating Medicare members with COVID?

Also, heart issues are a symptom of COVID.

If you look at the actual data, it suggests that we are undercounting COVID deaths.
The CDC just released this last night.. From Mar 11-May 2, NYC experienced 24k excess deaths over normal for that time period. 14k were classified as COVID positive, 5k were classified as COVID probable. That leaves 5k undetermined excess deaths. Common sense would tell you that those 5k undetermined excess deaths are probably related to a global pandemic that is going on.
