Once again, it's not about being insecure or worried about what others may think, imo. It's just about common decency and not being a dick. Nebraska hired their whole coaching staff against their druthers. That's our only contribution (if you can call it that) to their success. How anybody thinks that gives NU fans any business showing up and stealing any of their thunder is beyond my ability to comprehend. Cheer for 'em, support 'em, whatever but we don't need 15k showing up in Husker attire or doing the inevitable GBR chant. If our team was worth a sh#t we'd have our own bowl game to worry about. We weren't and we don't. The Peach bowl is UCF vs Auburn, Nebraska has nothing to do with it.

@Melby @Savage Husker it’s more about not being jackasses. Nebraska has done nothing to warrant any sort of attention during the Peach Bowl. I get it, everyone is thirsty for the attention, but there’s a time and place for that. Don’t act like the 5 year old excited to show off your new toy. If the shoe was on the other foot you’d be pissed. To quote Melby from a couple of weeks ago. 

I don’t see it as this broad stroke that if you wear anything Husker down there that they’re automatically dicks. Who cares. People can still root for UCF without being jackals and cheering anything “GBR.” And yeah, that would be foolish and obnoxious. I’ve said before, I still think it sucks that Van Horn left, but even at the time I was never bitter and the decision made sense. I grew up an hour away from idolizing Griffey in the Kingdome just for him to leave for Cincy after Safeco was built for him. It sucked, but we still rooted for him and were never bitter at Cincy fans. 16 years later, my mariners friends and I shared beers with Reds fans in Cooperstown appreciating his greatness. It’s life, players and coaches come and go every year.
