This and the Komodo Dragon are my favorites. Dark, rich flavor, but without all the acid you get from Central American & African beans.

Guess I’ll have to try the Komodo Dragon. I did a quick search and didn’t see it available in the K pods but we still have a coffee grinder and that little strainer pod (which has never actually been used yet ). Sam’s Club has the Sumatra in 72 packs and you can usually get it on sale for about $32.

When I retire I’ll get serious about my coffee and get a french press and do it right. The Keurig is just way too convenient and consistent.

  2. Black, thick and straight…..oh wait, wrong thread. :B)

Drink it black most of the time. Starbucks Sumatra dark roast in the Keurig is my go to. Also do some Cafe Bustelo espresso style dark roast.  I have a little frother/hot pot and will occasionally add some heated or frothed milk. Makes it like a latte. If I get it from a coffee place, I like a plain latte, no flavor added with an extra shot or two of espresso. I like to taste and smell the coffee. I don’t like it cold or iced.

Now when my daughter says she is getting coffee, she is talking about some sugared up cold concoction that you wouldn’t even know contained coffee.

Did you read the books? I just finished the first two and they are excellent.

Side note, I simply couldn't get into GoT. Gave up after 4 episodes, nothing about it hooked me and I love sci fi/fantasy.

I have not read the books but I did read about the books and the 3 body problem.  I’m a bit weird, I like reading about physics. I don’t totally understand a lot of it but I find it interesting. But please give GoT another shot. If you like fantasy/sci fi, it’ll have to hook you at some point.

  4. The first season (8 episodes) of 3 Body Problem is out on Netflix. I like it a lot so far. They do a pretty good job of feeding you the info needed as it progresses but it wouldn’t hurt to do a little research first if you have no clue what the 3 body problem is and if you have no clue about the book. It’s a rather odd mix of 50 year old Chinese history, Physics and aliens. Same show runners as GoT and, so far, 3 actors from GoT  (Samwell Tarley, Davos Seaworth and the high sparrow).

I really want to finish it tonight but have an Avs game to watch so it might have to wait one more day. Hopefully they get season 2 out more expeditiously than the GoT seasons.

They certainly could have worked to solve a few problems along the way.  HR2 was the only semi good major bill I can even think of that they worked on

But they don’t have to work on anything or solve any problems because the continued support of their base only requires rage farming. I’d say the problem isn’t the politicians but rather the people that continue to support MAGA. There is no R party separate from MAGA anymore.

How much does a bracketologist make? What school do you go to to get that degree?

The pay varies greatly. You go to bracketology school… It’s like regular college except instead of going to class you just drink and watch sports.

Disclaimer- obviously this is not true or I would be a bracketologist.

That's why I said Trev can be an a$$h@!e too. There's no way he comes out of this looking fresh. What he did is pretty unforgivable to a fan base that's been s#!t on for decades, and the only beacon in the limelight has been volleyball (thank god for John Cook and those women). His tweets the past 24hrs have also been extremely cringe.

It's one thing for us 9 to 5 people to leave a job because our bosses suck, but he was getting paid almost $2M/yr to guide this program and deal with the bulls#!t. $2M in Lincoln Nebraska goes a loooong way. To lie to a fandoms face and tell them the things he did the past few years and then fly out the door to an old rival just when things are looking up is trash. Even more so when he never spoke out about the issues publicly. The dude would have had the entire state's ear. As an alumni and supposed lover of the program he had a responsibility to speak out, and he didn't.

Yep. The underlying cause BS does nothing to diminish Trev effing the University and fanbase. Time won’t heal this. I am not opposed to removing his NIL from everything related to Nebraska. At the very least they should change his name on the stadium to an Aggie maroon color. Pound sand Trev.

I'd be curious to know how much money initially came in on the Nebraska side to push the spread 2 points in our favor since this morning. When the line was -3.5, it must have been like 90% of the money coming in on Nebraska, no?

I don’t know how much money it takes to move a bball line a point? In football they say it takes about $1M to move the line a point. Prob impossible to tell what percentage since Vegas only strives to balance the $$ on each side.

I pull my info from ESPN, so not always the most reliable lines but close enough for government work.

Well mine are just from one site, not a compilation of Vegas. And TBH I don’t know if it’s a percentage of the money or of the number of bets placed. So it might be useless info. Just trying to contribute something
