Nothing against Ahman Green, as he was an awesome Husker and had great years in the NFL, I just struggle with hiring guys just because he was a great, former Husker. Has Ahman done any coaching at any level since retiring in the NFL?
I believe he has a training facility in Omaha - If that counts as coaching.

Game tickets- anyone know what the price drops to prior to the game starting?
Stadium seats 60,000
They average about 25,000 attending
Last time NU was there they drew 33,000
Stub hub has crappy tickets for $50. Im guessing tickets will be going for next to nothing prior to the game?
All the hotels in Champaign are booked, but got something good in Peoria- pretty close.
There are still lots of tickets available on their athletic dept website ranging from $35 to $70. Nebraska sideline is on sections 103-107. My ticket was mailed to me within 1 week.

They should delete his videos and any work he's done asap. Not a good look.

Pass on Texas Tech. That school is in the middle of nowhere. I don't really see how they would open up the recruiting footprint to Texas. TCU would potentially be an option for the DFW market, but even then that school is so small and selective, it doesn't have a strong alumni base. Texas and OU fans are more predominant in the DFW market.
That's understandable. What about the university of Huston? Large city with no schools in the power 5. Yes, they probably don't fit for an alumni base, academics, geographically, and many other reasons but I'm just trying to think outside the box here.
If the big ten expands I would like to see them move into richer recruiting territory (preferably closer to Nebraska vs the east coast). Adding another Iowa school or a Kansas school doesn't help in that aspect.

Pass on Texas Tech or expanding a recruiting footprint into Texas?

I would like the Big Ten to bring in a school like Texas Tech to widen the recruiting footprint.

My main take away from his press conference is that he is the man for the job and I am extremely excited for the future of husker athletics.

Hopefully he can help establish a pipeline into Omaha recruiting.
