who were all the so-called 'big names' that were out there? been wondering out that statement for quite sometime now!

When your short on talent, no coaching, can make a 'silk purse out of a sow's ear', let the coaches do there jobs and hopefully bring in better talent in the next few years! Trying to run the ball with this bunch won't ever be like it "has been". No blame on any of the players, but the talent isn't there, at this time! good points i saw; Armstrong played better then i expected. Sour points; i didn't see the pass rush i was hoping for, BUT, they made adjustments at halftime and were better. Speaking of adjustments; this coaching staff made them. Something i can't ever remember the old staff doing.

I think MR is still trying to find a complete back. got one who blocks, one for short yardage, one can run; just no one who has the complete package!

Lots of unknowns! We really only have 2 NFL type players, collins and fultz. dpe might have been the 3rd one but i'm really guarded on him coming back full strength this yr. foot injury means he wont be in football shape when he's ok'd to return. Looking at a red shirt is definately something to keep an open mind about. I do believe the players will get better coaching and not tend to unravel when the going gets tuff. tommie is someone who most people will be watching, to see how he evolves. like to see run/pass stay around 50/50.

I think Abdullah's a great back; my worries are when he gets nicked up, he will have to learn to play at a high level while not 100%, he didn't do this well while a husker!

I'm going to ride with Riley for awhile, to me, he's everything we needed and if he can coach, i'd consider him a gift from above! Riley exemplifies everything i wanted in a coach. We need a CEO to run the program. Let the assistants coach, if an assistant can't hold up his end, then replace him with someone who can. Riley knows the expectations, that's enuff for me!

Taking the job at kansas before he was ready has really slowed turner's climb up the coaching ladder!

Turner is a great guy but wasn't and still isn't ready for the husker stage. Hiring Frank proved that being an offensive coach isn't the experience needed to coach here. You have to be a CEO and hire good people to work under you, not old buddies.

DPE and Foltz are on my list. TA has experience but thats the only thing that seperates him. Defense, it could be either DE or LB as were very thin at those postions. Both DPE and Foltz can turn the game around on 1 play, no one else comes even close to that!

Good Quarterback play, seems to mean, your always in the game. If were going to over recruit a position, this would be the position that fits into my thinking!
