  1. Originally committed to Maryland last Winter, but didn't end up there (not sure what happened there). Been at the JUCO level for 2 years, had 27 tackles and a sack this year.
  2. I think it's more beneficial to Brady who has made it known he doesn't like recruiting. Has to be paired with someone that can go out there and get the players.
  3. I can't even facepalm his posts anymore. It's just 90% of the things he says make me want to walk away from my computer.
  4. One of the few ideas I wouldn't mind happening. Another way to retain Beckton with pay + responsibility increase.
  5. They aren't as long as they look - covid years have already been taken off their roster years.
  6. Chris Petersen is 56 years old and maintained a leadership role with Washington. Sounds like a fully retired man to me.
  7. https://www.google.com/amp/s/theclemsoninsider.com/2020/12/14/venables-comments-on-being-linked-to-new-head-coaching-jobs/amp/ He's not going anywhere, unless it's a winning team.
  8. I'd rather see her protecting the left side.
  9. Body seems more physically ready than Stilles was. 247 had Stille at 235 lbs going to UNL, and based off pictures seems generous.
  10. I think it helps in terms of recruiting, but I'm not sure on exactly how big of an impact. If I'm an OL and I see the type of impact Notre Dame, Iowa or Wisconsin players are making in the NFL, I'm taking that into consideration.
  11. Sorry, should've clarified - $12 total. Most theaters offer cheap movies Tuesday all day, and cheap movies Thursday (students) all day.
  12. My only kickback is that the price of these movies need to be severely adjusted. We went, as well and saw Black Widow for $12. In comparison, Disney+ is asking $30 for the movie. I do think we'll continue to see a resurgence in driver in theaters.
  13. Freeney would be a strong 1A. Had a pretty solid career.
  14. I guess I might've jumped the gun on that draft projection, as it's a site that I'm not overly familiar with http://draftscout.com/dsprofile.php?PlayerId=1018688&DraftYear=2021Although, he has better size than Cethan Carter (who is on an NFL roster spot). Has shown that he can get separation off the line, and is a decent blocker. 6'4 @ 260 lbs, in an NFL strength and conditioning level can do a lot for a player. I do stand by saying that Roby was 21 years old and Jack is 24, and would be a 6th year player. He wouldn't even have an opportunity to comeback if it wasn't for the freebie year of COVID. Plus, he would come back to a room of Allen, Vokolek, a boatload of other TE's on roster. As well as incoming guys like Fidone, Carnie and Rollins.
  15. I really don't understand this comment. Stoll is already projected as a 5th round pick. If he has a good combine, he works his way into the 4th. On top of being a 6 year senior if he comes back.
  16. I don't know what you're talking about. Analysists are exactly what their title says, they're allowed to review film, and relay things that they see to the coaches, but are not allowed to coach players. Which I'm pretty sure is 9 assistants, and 4 graduate assistants. Also, on the flipside, the average NFL team has 22 coaches on a team. Maybe research before you argue a fact.
  17. @Mav Guess I'm confused how Farniok graded higher than Corcoran and Benhart, but he was worse on the run, and only better better than Benhart pass blocking. MFarniok - 58.4 - 83.8 - 54.2 Corcoran - 56.5 - 84.7 - 60.4 Benhart - 56.4 - 82.1 - 58.4

    Hope

You can't say that, it doesn't fit the fire chin movement.
  19. The real question is who will give him his next chance?
  20. Anyone know the deal on Ja'Quinden Jackson from Texas? Wouldn't hurt to bring in another QB. Probably has 4 years of eligibility since this year is a freebie.
  21. 2018: Woodyard - Stop gap Watts - .. Didn't make it as listed. Williams - Stop gap McGriff - Was projected as a possible TE? Hunt - .. How are you supposed to predict what he did? Love how you left the fact that Frost had 2-3 months to fill this class out and had to bring in two JUCO's in the first place to fill depth, a gadget slot guy like McGriff, as well as an on the edge guy like Watts. 2020: Noa: Again??? Trying to fill lack of depth left by Riley and was meant to only be a 1 year player. Houston: Known as a developmental player, like most young wide receivers. Zavier: Showing out as a freshmen Fleming: You know Covid is an issue this season. Manning: JUCO again because of lack of depth. Brown: Fresh Nixon: Fresh I guess you want to make points that want to only fill your agenda that Scott didn't walk into a s#!t show when it comes to depth. Also, that we should expect all freshmen receivers to have an immediate impact. By the way, all 5 WR's you listed were recruited in Frost's time in the those last 3 months of him getting to Nebraska. Which means that Riley didn't have a single WR commit for the 2018 class.
  22. Typically, I would agree, but his first year wasn't a full cycle and half the players weren't recruited by him and his 3rd year dealt with the covid restrictions, which I'm sure hurt a lot of teams recruiting. Frost also cannot force out non-contributors that were Riley recruits, and I also think he was relying heavily on JUCO's, a lot of which didn't work out.
  23. Sorry, but it does correlate when depth is a massive issue on the football team, especially when you look at a 3 year recruiting process equals 53% Nebraska fans, "We have no depth at receiver!!!!," 6 Mike Riley WR recruits transfer, 50% of which before frost gets to campus. "We have no OLB's or no ILB's!!," 7 of which didn't finish their career at UNL.
  24. Hard to say as it's not a finished class. I'm not a believer in Prochazka, plays pretty high, and I have a hard time believing he's 280 lbs. Fidone has the athleticism to be a gadget player. I'm not really sure on Kpai's weight, but I like his film and he does look like he has put weight on. I think Lutovsky can be a great guard. The other nice thing is that 6/7 top rated recruits are not only a 500 mile, but at max 5 hour drive away from Lincoln. 10/19 live in MO, IA, NE, or SD. They also brought in Oliver Martin and the graduate transfer Kolarevic.
