  1. The one and only common denominator the last 24yrs - Tom Osborne. So many wrong decisions. Picked the wrong coach with zero HC experience the first time, Picked the wrong coach with zero HC experience the second time that no AD in America would now touch. Save Pelini's job in 2013 when he should have been fired, at which time Pelini decides to stop recruiting for his last 2.5 yrs resulting in big damage to program. Picked a HC with no coaching experience the 3rd time who has lost 5-6 games he should not have. TBD Provided no support and caused fractures in the AD department when an outsider was hired. Acted like a child when didnt get his way (publicly giving up his skybox, etc..) The program would have faired much better if T.O had retired, moved away and gone fishing in Florida in 1997. Instead he and his handpicked coaches have been running the show for 17 of the last 24 years and we have nothing to show for it. Legendary coach, absolutely horrible administrator.
  2. Chin and D being helped by COVID. No one on Offense sticking around after COVID (e.g. Farniok, Jaimes, Stoll, etc..). How good would we feel about the D if Farmer, NPG, Payne and Rogers were starting instead of Deonti Wlliams, Dismuke, Stille and JoJo?
  3. Anyone hear anything about early enrollee Branson Yager this spring? Im hearing rumblings he might not be long for Lincoln.
  4. Green jersey AM hype is funny. 1. 0% chance he ever plays in the NFL. 2. He’s not a 4.4 guy. There have been 7 college quarterbacks in the past 30 yrs that have ever been timed under 4.5. Bottom-line. Don’t care about the yards or the completion percentage. AM is 1-13 vs Wiscy, Iowa, NW, OSU, Mich, Col. In 29 career starts, he has beaten 1 team with a winning record. He is who he is. He’s a great kid, and he might be a little better this coming year, but he’s not gonna win ya a lot of big games.
  5. Fair did not have a good season. Carries a ton of bad weight and lifting numbers are real weak. He would be dead weight and never play.
  6. Lets hope Callahan is right that he will practice tomorrow. Hes been wrong on a number of things before.
  7. Pima stats are notoriously incorrect. For example check out the stats for their last game against Mesa. Pima credits their individual defensive players with a combined 170 tackles when Mesa ran only 76 plays. In that same game Mesa individuals were credited with 70 tackles (100 less than Pima) on almost the same number of plays. Against Scottsdale, they credited Fair with 25 tackles (23 solo and 2 assist) and Scottsdale only ran 34 running plays. A complete tape of the game shows him making 3 solo, 2 assisted. His Scottsdale Hudl highlights show him making 3 tackles. Impossible for a nose guard to have 25 tackles on 34 running plays.
  8. Don't believe everything you read about the number of tackles he had last year, and his 25 tackle game against Scottsdale.
  9. FYI - Fair did not have 25 tackles in the game against Snow last year, nor did he have 98 tackles on the season. Not even remotely close.
  10. Yes, hard for us to pull OL from out west. Have made about 66 OL offers over the last 10 yrs for West OL and have gotten 3 (Gates, Kondolo, Witaker; not counting Ober)
  11. So that would mean Lee would have graduated in 3 yrs? Is that very common? Have no idea
  12. I doubt they are recruiting Swinson to be a TE. Watch his film. Dude is SLOW. Runs a 5 flat 40. By comparison Fant runs a 4.64, and Stoll runs a 4.68. Gotta be recruiting him for line.
