      not necessarily, Teach.  Sadly, the squeaky wheel gets the oil first. Boise state did what you said years ago and never made a championship game.  I think UCF knows this and feels if they arent yelling to get attention, that people will just ignore them.

    Jake Browning has really digressed since being in CFP a couple years ago. His stock was pretty high back then, but watching him over the last 2 years he has gotten worse imo.

    Just spent 30m listening to the leaked audio from Pelini's post firing meeting. Never heard it before. I like this guy. Not classy to bash your old boss but I see Pelini differently now. How long until he gets a good job again?

      It is weird, since i am guessing not a single person who posted in there was a past player.  Fans doing a players prayer is not only weird, but disrespectful to the guys who put the effort in for 5 years.  I hope it gets ruined every time.

      Cant live without my S3 frontier. I have the LTE tmobile version that has a phone built in. Sometimes I will leave my cellphone at home if i am just running an errand. Can do GPS, music, streaming spotify at the gym, phone and texting while out jogging, etc. The only thing my cell phone does better is cruise the internet.

      The only thing that changed for me is the game vs Oregon. I think he will be back by Nov. WIscy air threat isnt enough to change much, imo. OSU looks bad no matter who is starting bach there. UNtil Nov, no other team on the schedule looks like it should change much.

    Something I've noticed under the Riley hire. It seems as if the average player has become better. However, we don't seem to have as many big time stars either

      All great players. I think its just a difference in our definition of Big Time Stars. I consider big time stars to be major award winners, consensus all Americans, etc. I miss the days when we had a few of those every year.

    It would be fascinating to know what kind of negative recruiting people are using against Nebraska. When a near-lock commits to a P12 doormat, something is definitely up.

      Most people on the West coast see Nebraska the same as North Dakota. Crap weather, nothing to do, no big cities, no mountains, no ocean, no pro teams, mostly white people, and a red state. Cali is literally the opposite of all those things.

       

      This staff needs to win more if they want to bring in top players. Happy they are going after the big dogs, but winning cures all.

      IMO, has way more to do with getting blown out by OSU, Iowa and Tennessee. Also, Cali and FLorida produce the most NFL players. Why would you just ignore it when the entire staff has connections on the West coast. /smh

      i think everything, but TE and WR, will be an upgrade next year. With the talent and coaching at WR, not really concerned about that position.
