Sorry, but Chris Peterson isnt leaving Washington. He turned down USC with a similar offer. Peterson wanted to go to a place without super high expectations and found it at UW.

I looked at your link and took today's "forecast" as a forecast for 24 hours later, meaning what they guess tomorrow will be like. Look at the time progression map

Current AQ at 123. With rains coming in all day tomorrow and easterly winds, the forecast for most of the PNW has dropped drastically. Tomorrows AQ forecast is supposed to be under 50. In Omaha, right now, the AQ is 68.

When tommy couldnt complete simple passes, defenses started stacking the box with 8 defenders. The DLine didnt have to stay at home, they were able to do full rushes. LB's blitzed and played run first. But, if you have a qb that can check down, throw simple 5 yard passes and screens.... now that means the DLine has to stay at home, so they dont get burned by a middle screen. The LB's have to play pass first because of crossing routes and slants from slots and TEs. There is a cascading effect when your QB can deliver the ball quickly and accurately. Then the D wont stack the box.... and now we can run the ball. Its the passing to open up the run philosophy. When teams drop back their coverages to cover the pass, you pound the ball until they bring up a safety for support, then you burn them deep. Its a chess match, and we havent had a decent chess player since Osborne.

The whole point to a screen is to counter pressure from rushes or stacking the box, you want pressure on those plays.

So when it happens to Riley, its because he isnt good at numbers or recruiting? What happens when it happens to Nick Saban, almost on a yearly basis? This happens to every staff. I follow several p5 teams, and this is a common occurrence. You cant force kids to be honest with you. Some kids think when they commit to a school, they dont have to go to HS classes anymore. The $ that is paying Bo's payout is coming from a different source of funds. It's not coming from Athletic Department funds. That "special fund" is money that could have been donated to the athletic fund, had it not been needed to get rid of Bo. /smh

Ameer could run between the tackles with the best of them. Lower leg strength was off the charts. Rex lacked top end speed but had plenty of quick/shifty on the outside. Unless you are speaking purely from a measurables standpoint. Agree with you completely Warrior. Ameer hit a hole harder than most backs I've ever seen. He was a cannon ball between the tackles. And I still think people underrate Rex's athleticism because, ya know, hes white. Rex nearly always made the first man miss. In his draft class at the combine he was ranked as follows among ~35 RB's: Vertical Jump, 2nd Broad Jump, 2nd 3 Cone Drill, 4th 20 YD Shuttle, 2nd 60 YD Shuttle, 5th That's a combine with Gio Bernard, CJ Anderson, Montee Ball, LeVeon Bell, Kenjon Barner, Knile Davis, Christine Michael, Theo Riddick, Andre Ellington, etc. And that's my off-topic message for the month. I think they are looking for bigger backs because of their need to block pass rushers/blitzers in the pro scheme. 5'10 180lbs taking on a 245lb blitzing OLB isn't a good matchup, imo.

I think its more for if/when Fuller backs out.
