It's obvious that Vegas controls the reffing bias mentioned in another thread and they are calling for a cease fire from the refs for this game

Production is set up for people who dont know football. If it was for people who actually know football we would be watching endzone angles. Always laugh when people brag about sitting on the fifty yard line. Give me endzone seats any day of the week so I can see plays unfold

I was fine with the call. Obviously the play broke down but I think AM showed he has much to learn. He launches it to the endzone but he had a open man right at the sticks. Get the 1st down and try for the TD in the next set.

well in that picture they are essentially in a 4-4 with a wide DE (Guifford) and Jackson acting as the 4th lb. What they should have been doing all game especially on third down is just putting an olb right on the TE and jamming him at the line then releasing to go to the QB. Would have got the same amount of pressure on the QB but would have slowed the TE down who was killing us on 3rd down.

not defending Lightbourn but if your answer to not having punts returned for touch downs is to kick it toward the sidelines you have deeper issues. Also on returns its bothers the hell out of me that they don't block the long snapper. He's the first guy down the field and puts pressure on the returner. I know a lot of teams don't because they figure its the long snapper but damn. If you aren't going to block the kick you should block everyone you have a man for.

His comments pail in comparison to what the players are saying to each other on the field. I know everyone thinks you get flagged for that stuff but you would be surprised at what you can say pretty loudly before a ref will even come to you and say hey watch your mouth. I used to have calm full blown conversations with opposing players laced with expletives. These aren't college kids they are men at this point. My coach never cussed but didn't stop me or my teammates from having vocabularies like sailors.

can we all just take turns sending this clip to his coach and request he doesn't play anymore?

I learned the defense is much better without 21 on the field. He was on the field for all of Wisconsin's big plays. Not saying they were all his fault but his effort makes my eyes hurt

and the better you are on 1st and 2nd down helps with how good you are on 3rd down. Lets face it, over the lasts couple of years they haven't been good on downs 1 through 4

I dont care if he bought in or not. What I do care about is that he turned into Ty-rex Lindsey while trying to catch passes over the middle. Also that he can't block or break tackles

I was Hoping Honas would be an impact player. On the other hand it should lead to more PT for Collin Miller who I think can be pretty good. He's got a good motor. He's also from the same town in IN that Randy Gregory is from.

Anyone looking to leave from this team will most likely end up at a non power 5 school

I hope he doesn't break his arm and then have it heal weird so he can throw a baseball 100 mph. Someone with a very similar name did that once

Can D Williams or Dismuke play corner? I like their aggressiveness. I think Lee is better than Jackson but not by much

always hated that. Work on a play you know is coming all week and then act like you've never seen it. Or when you are on the sideline and you say "Hey 21 its coming your way" and they act surprised when it comes their way.

Something I did when I coached (At a HS that reminds me of the state this team is in now) would ask the players how many of them thought they were men. Just about all of them would raise their hands except maybe a few freshman. I would then tell them they are going to be treated like men. I then explained most of them would probably take their last snap of football in HS and then enter the workforce. In the workforce there are consequences for being late or not performing. Playing time is "pay". If you are late to practice or meetings i dock your pay. If you aren't performing you will be docked or given a performance improvement plan. If you do too many of any one thing you will be fired. I had kids that were late to practice because they couldn't stop talking long enough in the locker room to get their pads on in a timely manner. When they sat out a quarter for however many times they were late they stopped being late. Nobody likes to work and not get paid. Minor things can turn people around real quick
