  1. Saw an Oregon writer is still saying Raiola will be there for their spring game so maybe he will come to ours as well.
  2. Not ideal if that’s the case, but still sounds like we are in the battle for him, which is all you can ask for. Definitely had visions of him committing at the spring game.
  3. We will see if he makes it for that.
  4. I understand what you’re saying but this is actually a really good sign in my opinion. It doesn’t matter if you’re at the top of the depth chart or the bottom, you have to bring it 100% in every drill is the standard. That’s how other players buy in, when they know that the #1 RB can’t take a rep off either. This kind of accountability will make Allen a better RB. Hopefully he sees that but if he doesn’t, then it wasn’t meant to be anyway.
  5. I’ll be concerned if he cancels his visit here but unless/until that happens, it seems every visit gives that school the momentum and we look like the last visit still before his planned decision.
  6. Interesting that Ohio State isn’t listed in the edit.
  7. Maybe cutting down his list? Maybe more? I saw UGA locked in a spring visit from another ‘24 QB.
  8. Pretty noteworthy because Schaefer just said last week he hasn’t felt great about our chances because he’s only been hearing about Dominic’s interest in Nebraska, and less so about Dylan’s. Must have heard something that changed his mind.
  9. On top of QB development, skill position players want to play in that system too so you know there’s going to be ridiculous weapons when you step on campus. I’d actually say peer recruiting ability is my biggest worry here. If we land Dylan, we will get a top 15 class because his rating will be such a boost for the class rankings. But does he feel he will be able to bring a 5-star WR, a 4-star RB, 4-star TE, and 4-star WR, etc like he would at Georgia and USC? Maybe he does feel he will be able to, just saying that’s my biggest concern. That said, this is the most confident I’ve ever been that he will be N. I think he’s always wanted to be N but just needed the right signs in place. I actually think he might already be N and the rest of this is just a formality. Maybe I’m wrong but it sounds like Dominic has been making the media rounds and dropping hints behind the scenes that this is a done deal. Certainly sounds like Rhule has shown Dylan the family environment that he’s been looking for and that he has this on the right track. And our NIL ability will be second to none.
  10. Might not mean anything but Georgia just offered an in-state 2024 QB.
  11. USC is a little spooky. I’m not worried about Oregon or Michigan really. Mostly just Georgia. But Lincoln Riley’s track record is hard to deny. Also this though:
  12. Sounds like he wants to be patient and plans on giving each team their due diligence. Positive update for us in my opinion.
  13. Transfers have different signing rules. Once he’s enrolled and taking classes, he’s locked in. Until then, all bets are off.
  14. Probably wouldn’t hurt to check expectations here and just be pleasantly surprised if/when he produces. I definitely don’t think it’s a talent issue. Maybe similar to Omar Manning where it’s hard to get him on the field on Saturday if he isn’t doing all the right things during the week, whatever that reason might be. It does sound like several teams reached out to him and decided not to pursue. I trust coach Rhule though and believe he will have the right structure in place. Sky is the limit if he can get on the field.
  15. NIL is absolutely crushing it for us. Gigantic advantage.
