Kamara ran his 40 in 4.56 at NFL combine. Now we all know this kid is probably way slower than that on laser. But he is still young and maybe could get faster. He also had some good catches out of the backfield I’m sure his coaches made sure he included in on the tape. I would probably compare Miles to this kid it seems and maybe Frost made it obvious he didn’t have a place for him in this style of offense? Wonder if this kid plays defense as well ?

I definitely agree with that. But being a Husker fan, I was curious if Frost would have a use for someone like this or not? Running back or not .

Not at all, I just came across it on bleacher report on Facebook. I am Nebraska born and live in Omaha, don’t know the dude. Just care about Husker football and know there is a lot of knowledge on this board and I was curious everyone’s opinions because I would think Frost would love coaching a kid like this up in order for the kid to be successful in the sport.

The article also states he “likes the cold and the thought of being able to play in the Midwest close to his roots.”

I didn’t know where else to post this, being fairly new to the board. I know we do not utilize a fullback in our system, however, I was wondering what everyone’s opinion was on 2020 recruit Charlie Spegal? See link below for highlight video and Bleacher Report story on him. The kid has a 4.6 40-yard dash that complements a 575-pound squat and a 420-pound bench press. Spegal finished with 3,356 rushing yards (second in the nation), scored 70 touchdowns (first in the nation) and didn't lose a single fumble. However, he is not getting much recruiting attention. I was curious if we should take advantage of this and possibly easily land a kid who has a work ethic and something to prove. As if our defense isn’t getting dominated enough , our offense can’t stay on the field for more than three plays. Defense is going to be gassed and things may get worse before they get better

What does any of this have to do with AM injury?

I played football at UNO and was roommates with his brother Deveraux Bootle. The good news is Deveraux told me their youngest brother is in high school right now and I am told he is the best and fastest athlete of all of them. He plays WR and I am told Frost is already recruiting hard.

Hell no , he needs the experience. He is our future.

Adrian is the future of this program. No sense in having him possibly hurt himself more and prevent future growth and experience this year by putting him in while injured just to get us a whopping two or three wins this season. That would be stupid. Take your time with Adrian at this point, he is the future of this program and needs the reps against our B1G competition for experience only.

The very first offensive play we hit a quick six yard out to Morgan Jr. haven’t called another play even close to that since.

Snooze fest so far. Geez, all the stops and commercials , etc. really work against the preferred fast pace offense of trying to wear down defenses.

Let me propose a question cause I don’t know the right answer and I am curious what others think. What if Bunch is really struggling and we are down quite a bit early? Does Frost try his darnest to get the W by putting in a less than 100% AM to get a win? He has to know we need this win today to keep on track to be bowl eligible (at the least).
