  1. The reality is that most Americans support some policies on both sides if moderated in the middle. Problem is both parties are pulling us apart and trying to pull everything to their extreme. Compromise and moderation is what we need. That isn't happening any time soon with the people in charge. Edit: I should add Fear mongering has added to the issue as well.
  2. Kent read, Kent write, Kent remember what I did last night, Kent State.
  3. Too bad gas prices here have jumped up bigley. Don't know about the rest of the country.
  4. Goes with my comment if people are honest with themselves on both sides, they don't like their candidate.
  5. I think the real question is what person will come in and clean up the mess after Trump finally dies? Is there a shadow office somewhere rebuilding the republican party after the leftover spirit of the confederate states moves on? There needs to be.
  6. I think the data about repubs not voting for Trump is interesting to watch. I am guessing the GE will be interesting because if everyone is completely honest, they don't want either of these people. Elections are now about fear and little else. Too many people on both sides feel like the world will end if the other guy is elected. Ohio primary is in a few weeks. I will vote against Trump. However that looks. I may write in Nikki. After all she personally texts me now.
  7. This is where I am at. I don't like Trump, but you can't just keep him off the ballot because he is a jerk. Could Red state keep of Biden because they think he isn't all there? No
  8. There was a great article I read afterwards in I think the Atlantic that summoned it up several things. Hillary lost the union vote in the rust belt. (Joe mostly won that back in 2020) She ignored places Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ohio. In Ohio she was almost a double digit favorite according to the Dem polls in Ohio. I watched the live feed at Dem headquarters the night of the vote in 2016. Some Dems, hated HRC. My sister is a hard core Dem. She voted Trump. (I am sworn to secrecy on that in the family) All the rest of the things you are all saying played part in it too.
  9. And many Christians scoff when I call Trump the anti-Christ. It fits on so many levels.
  10. I feel like we need this type of a clock Republican party held hostage day ____ I am close to saying out loud what needs to happen to Trump...
  11. The real question is why can't we get a hot leader instead of two grumpy old men fighting to be our prsident.
  12. We recently bought a 2019 Kia Sorrento. Fully loaded. The nicest car we have owned, especially for it being used. We noticed the cruise control doesn't work. It is still under warranty. I take it to a KIA dealer. They can't find the warranty info under the vin#. The place I bought it from does a deep dive. The care was first purchased in Canada. Call Kia-US. Need to call Kia-Canada. Call them. I need to drive it to a Canadian Kia. For me, not too bad, I go through Buffalo all of the time to go to my son's events at University of Rochester. Other than having to renew my passport I am someone OK with this. For the price of the work, it is worth it. So from now on, make sure you know in what country your vehicle was first purchased.
  13. Moral of the story, never hire someone with the last name Love. And Scoggin sounds too much like Scroggin. For the old people out there.
  14. Probably discussed here before, but new to me. Resident Alien- Quirky, funny, interesting.
  15. I can add a few more people to that list to sweeten the pot.
  16. I find it is interesting that I have to argue with people about Ukrainian Aid. I say if we don't spend pennies now that will cost dollars later along with American blood. They seem to understand that a little. I also think it is nice that European country's are stepping up. The goal here is to break Russia financially and force China to spend money on this also.
  17. I agree. Although I have moved to pay the kids from the colleges, take away the scholarships, and make them work their own NIL deals. This way when they opt out of games and bowls they can be held in breach of contract.
  18. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/espn-six-extension-college-football-181027679.html I agree with a lot from this article. It is from a USC news source though. eSECpn will dominate the narrative that will drive its bottom line.
  19. We should use all of the funds from oil in Alaska to help Ukraine. Suck it Russia!!
  20. I realized a while ago I am no longer a target demographic for anything except AARP ads and depends commercials. I really could care less about the HT show. It is a time to load up on food and go to the bathroom. Now, get off of my lawn!!!
