  1. If I were a Minnesota player I'd have to start questioning their training/rehab staff. Two players injuring the same knee two years in a row seems like an issue. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/34330725/minnesota-isaiah-ihnen-sidelined-season-ending-knee-injury-second-straight-year
  2. No surprise there. Would have been shocked to see him go anywhere else.
  3. 101 days until the first game of the regular season (Maine)!
  4. Looks like he will be playing for San Antonio next year. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/34198334/source-san-antonio-spurs-claiming-forward-isaiah-roby-waivers
  5. It could also say something about his comfort level being back home in Australia or the level of Australian professional basketball vs the level of the B1G.
  6. Huskers will play at St John's on 11/17. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/34179979/villanova-wildcats-michigan-state-spartans-highlight-gavitt-tipoff-games
  7. Nice story about his daughter getting a tour of the places her dad used to go/hang out... https://omaha.com/sports/huskers/mens-basketball/dylan-talleys-daughter-rediscovers-her-love-for-basketball-after-tour-with-fred-hoiberg/article_5ae4ce98-f81d-11ec-a2f1-3788beb8af29.html#tracking-source=home-top-story
  8. Looks like the B1G is adding USC & UCLA for 2024... https://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/34173688/source-usc-ucla-considering-move-pac-12-big-ten https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/usc-ucla-planning-to-leave-pac-12-for-big-ten-in-2024-with-announcement-imminent/
  9. Syracuse playing a game outside of the state of New York before the conference season? It's a miracle! Jim Boeheim must be freaking out.
  10. ESPN currently has him going 41st to New Orleans in their mock draft. https://www.espn.com/nba/insider/story/_/id/34121058/2022-nba-mock-draft-projecting-all-58-picks-based-latest-intel-scouting
  11. Should be all the games. Twenty B1G games, 3 in the ESPN tournament at Thanksgiving, 1 Gavitt Games, 1 ACC/B1G Challenge, Creighton, K-State, Maine, UNO, Arkansas - Pine Bluff & Queens makes 31. There will be a "charity exhibition" at Colorado and another exhibition game - probably against a state school. Now we just need a lot of dates/times.
  12. Should get an ACC team in PBA. Played at NC State last year.
  13. Jack McVeigh was named to the Australian national team. https://huskers.com/news/2022/6/9/mens-basketball-mcveigh-named-to-australia-iba-world-cup-qualifying-team.aspx
  14. They should be done. Adam Howard replaced Abdelmassih & Doc's position was eliminated. They announced a couple of Graduate Manager's last week. https://huskers.com/news/2022/6/1/mens-basketball-bania-and-borders-join-staff-as-graduate-managers.aspx
  15. Agreed - that's why I thought he would be better off staying in college for another year. I kind of looked at it as stay in college get NIL in the mid-6 figure range and play 30+ minutes every game and likely get drafted higher next year then get mid-7 figures/year on a guaranteed contract or go to the NBA get low 7-figures maybe guaranteed and almost never play. Yes, he's financially better off in one year, but in three years he's way behind. Look at what Keegan Murray, Jaden Ivey & Johnny Davis did by staying an extra year.
  16. I think that Breidenbach will come off the bench early in the season as they try to bring him along slowly after his knee injury. By the end of the season he will probably be a starter. You may be right on Lloyd/McPherson & Lawrence/Tominaga, but I think early in the season knowledge of the system may win out over talent so the freshmen may not get as many minutes.
  17. His addition to the team was made after my post - that's what I get for assuming...
  18. No mention of him making any kind of impression at the combine on ESPN or CBS Sports.
  19. That will be good for him. He should get plenty of minutes there.
  20. With the assumption that the roster is set and the three transfers probably wouldn't have come if they were going to ride the pine... Starters (alphabetically) - Bandoumel, Gary, Griesel, Walker, Wilcher Rotation (alphabetically) - Breidenbach, Dawson, Kieta, McPherson, Tominaga Depth - Kojenets, Lawrence, Lloyd & the walk-ons (Burt, Hoiberg, Jacobsen, McGraw)
  21. I guess I'm curious who will be the "point". Someone has to be able to get the offense started. Assuming Trey McGowens doesn't come back, none of the returning players seem like good options.
  22. ESPN has him going 29th to Memphis. https://www.espn.com/nba/insider/story/_/id/33795097/2022-nba-mock-draft-teams-pick-based-latest-nba-lottery-projections
  23. Very early bracketology from ESPN. Huskers a 6 seed playing Oregon State in Louisville (3 seed). https://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/30423107/ncaa-women-bracketology-2023-women-college-basketball-projections
