  1. I think it’s way more likely we beat northwestern and lose to Penn State. And our 8th win be either Cinci or Iowa
  2. The schedule in 2021 is pretty damn tough, better win the first 2 because there’s only one more gimme game the rest of the year vs. Southeastern
  3. Give this kid a year or two and he very well could be another Dedrick Mills or Imani Cross type player. Hard nosed, great in short yardage, and wears a defense out, allowing our speedy guys to make big plays
  4. I don’t believe it! Tell us or we’ll all know you’re lying!
  5. Anyone else think Frost kinda looks like Donna from That 70's Show?
  6. And people are saying our increasing the number of walk-ons was foolish! 2020 National Champs!
  7. I might put $20 on Rutgers, the risk would definitely be worth the reward!
  8. I could see that but I don’t think the G5 conferences will support it at all (not that their opinion holds much weight in all likelihood) because there’s slot of money their schools are set to lose if they don’t go and play the big boys of college football
  9. This guy could be a matchup nightmare this year. I expect to see him a lot this year. The pressure has to be on Martinez, because if he struggles early on, McCaffery might take the starting job and runs away with it. Competition breads success and that what I’m hoping is happening here
  10. Ha ha yea I have been planning on omg back every year the past 10 years
  11. If you ever get the chance go and participate in the d-day re-enactment paintball game in Oklahoma! People literally pick a side and re-enact storming the beaches Nd different missions. I did it a couple times right out of high school and it was a blast. https://www.ddaypark.com
  12. Imagine what would have happened in those years if we had anyone other Zac Lee running the offense. If Pelini would of had his last couple years offenses with those defenses, the sky would have been the limit!
  13. I think it's pretty typical for a player who feels like they are just as good or better than others to be upset when they're not playing. With McQuitty, he probably was more athletic then some of the other wideouts, but if he wasn't working as hard in practice or didnt have as good a grasp of the playbook as others (total speculation, I have nothing to believe that is the case) then of course the coaches arent going to play him. Especially when they are trying to change the culture. This honestly sounds like sour grapes to me
  14. I think with the improvement we seen on the OL from the beginning to the end of last season shows that our staff is capable of developing offensive linemen. I think with a full off season and the experience our young linemen got last season our oline will continue to trend up. The DL is still a huge question mark, but I still believe in our staff
  15. If he receives a waiver, I would assume that Frost understands and supports his choice. Which would make me assume that most of what people have been saying about him being a poor team and trying to lead a halfass mutiny against the staff is all smoke no fire.
  16. I doubt we see him playing in the BIG unless he sits a year
  17. I think Frost said mental health and mental illness. I could be wrong though. If Frost said it was for mental health, that is such a broad term that he definitely didnt violate any kind of HIPAA law. To be honest, mental illness is probably broad enough that he is still in the clear.
  18. It honestly seems like people’s fear of COVID-19 is losing steam at a rapid pace lately. Part of that might be because the focus has shifted after the George Floyd incident in Minneapolis. I honestly expect it things to be a lot closer to normal then people are projecting. It sounds like testing is becoming more widely available and the death to infection rate is trending the right direction as well. People are tired of being cooped up and are willing to risk the chances of catching the rona. If people are allowed to have large gatherings like we’ve seen the past two weeks with the protests and such, I don’t see how having tailgates are a whole lot different
  19. This x10. When your best player at any position group isn’t happy then before long it starts to effect everyone around him. We’re at the stage right now that it’s imperative that the leaders of our team all are in the same page and have the same goal in mind
  20. This should be great for recruiting
  21. I agree with what you’re saying, I know high school is different than D1 big time college football but we had a kid at olb last year that was a head hunter big play waiting to happen when he was on the field, unfortunately we didn’t know if it was going to be for us or the other team. We had to put him in (due to injury)during crunch time in a district game that was also for the league championship. The opposition ran an option and instead of taking the pitch man who was his responsibility, he crushed the qb who made the pitch and they scored with less than 15 seconds left, we lost. Moral of the story is that it’s hard to Go away from a sure thing for a possible splash play unless you’ve planned out a perfect time for said splash play. I think Frost needs to really work on when he plays guys so they don’t burn a redshirt. I feel like that was mismanaged last year as he only played guys 1 or 2 snaps a game and imo that’s a waste
  22. It’s crazy to believe that guys Bo offered are still eligible to play college ball. It seems like it’s been forever ago since Bo was let go and Riley was brought in. Shows even more why our program was in shambles. It’s hard to be a winner when there’s no stability at the head coach position
