  1. I’d venture to say that after Georgia’s home visit last week, they’ve been told what he’s going to do, or at least have a really good idea of what he’s going to do
  2. I wonder if Dylan hasn't deep down felt like Nebraska was "home" during this entire progress, but OSU and UGA were better programs so he listened to some of the people around him pushing him to go to those other places, and eventually he just had an open conversation with those important to him and told them how at heart he wanted to be a Cornhusker like his dad and uncle.
  3. If it is Christensen it also a huge recruiting tool. The guy is personal QB coach for Mahomes who is the darling QB of the NFL right now, not to mention he works with other NFL QBs and several high caliber college guys. It is a great sell "come work with the guy who made Mahomes, Ewers, etc., etc." It would attract high quality talent to Nebraska, and could make the program one that consistently puts guys in the league
  4. I think OUs Qb is heading to Oregon now so Ward is looking for somewhere to land
  5. Do you think we can someday have a damn winning record?
  6. Absolutely we should. The extra practice time alone is reason enough to accept
  7. I understand what you are saying. I would be willingly to bet that Temple and Baylor fans said the same thing in Rhule's first couple years in both places.
  8. I’m man enough to admit that after the first few weeks I was way down on Raiola. I was all for keeping him on staff and giving him a chance under Rhule but the beginning of the season was rough. I also thought he was a liability in recruiting. It’s obvious I was wrong. While our OL has plenty of issues, the growth and development as the season has progressed is evident. Leading the BIG in rushing. Yea part of that may be because we’ve had a nonexistent passing game, but then again, that just means teams can tee off on the run game and we’ve still been successful. when it comes to recruiting, I had no idea that this years OL class has been rated that high. It’s far from over, and recruiting rankings end up meaning squat if the recruits don’t get developed. But it looks like Raiola is capable of doing just that. I know this season has had its ups and downs, at times looked like Frosts teams, and made infuriating mistakes, but it appears something is being built and I’m all for taking the time for a quality program to get built.
  9. IF we can put a good Oline in front of him and a couple good receivers then he can be all-conference. It's not secret why OSU has so many highly touted QBs, they have the guys around them that allow them to excel. Imagine if he was healthy, had a good Oline and Marvin Harrison Jr to throw to!
  10. Since both of these teams are abysmal on offense and pretty stout on defense you would think it will be a low scoring game. Therefore this game will be weird and somehow this will turn into a 42-35 with all kinds of offense. Does it make sense? No, but either does either of these programs right now!
  11. I'm wondering what a fully healthy Purdy will look like? If he was playing injured Saturday, imagine what he could become with an offseason of development and a chance to get completely healthy. He looked like the perfect QB for what this offense is supposed to be.
  12. I agree the culture needs to change, but I’m also willing to give Rhule a couple years to change it.
  13. He definitely looked better in this offense than the other two
  14. One that it appears is going to take more than one year to fix. But honestly I think most of us knew that going into this year
  15. I didn’t get to watch all the game (missed the 3rd quarter) but from what I seen Chubba is easily the best Qb on the roster. He looked considerably better throwing the ball than HH or Simms, and he can run as well. Idc if the other two are healthy next week, I think he gives us our best shot to beat Iowa and looks to be the best option to lead the team next year unless we get a legit Qb in the portal
  16. You may be right but he’s playing then any other QB we’ve had this year
  17. Why has Purdy been riding the pine all season? He looks like an actual competent QB!
  18. Touche. I don’t know why but it seems like he’s missed on a lot of guys but it could just seem that way because the oline has struggled and he inherited a crap show that’s going to take a couple years to fix
  19. Why I think the oline is better this year than last considering all the injuries and he would most likely help improve the team, he’ll probably end up somewhere else because Raiola hasn’t done the greatest job bringing in talent
  20. 2010 @ K-State- T-Marts coming out party as he ran all over the wildcats in a huge victory
  21. If it Daniels that’s a double edged sword. The guy is an absolute stud but struggles to stay healthy. It’s another boom or bust kinda thing
