It gets clicks! And I also love how he says "you aren't the only program affected by the pandemic" when we were the only P5 school to have a game cancelled through no fault of our own, and the only one refused a makeup game. Until Wisky cancelled against Purdue anyway. 

I think Wisconsin is pretty pissed about losing to Illinois last year, so I don't doubt they win. But I could see the offense struggling to open up a huge lead, I'll be surprised if they break off many big plays.

Wouldn't that be a Winter sport? I think it's just Fall sports being cancelled for now. So I would think basketball is technically still on, but really just because they can wait on that decision.

I think KF has way too much pull, and Jr. isn't going anywhere. The only thing it might cost Jr. is being named the next head coach, and if so that's probably a win for Iowa anyway. Heckuva deal for Doyle, considering the review might come back and say he should be fired and sued. And it might not, who knows. But you don't usually walk out of these situations with a big buyout and benefits.

It helps that either the state of Wisconsin has turned into a hotbed of Oline talent, or the recruiting services have wised up and realized the kids Wisconsin takes from in state will turn out well regardless. But in either case, they've got a good class going.

Over. I think the run game gets going with Mills, and we break a couple shorter passes into long ones with Wan'Dale. I was hoping for Rahmir Johnson to get involved, but since they've said they want to redshirt him and have wasted 2 games with single drives I don't see it.

In this case our "taxes" are related to the number of clicks, if I understand correctly - or at least individual page views, which is increased with fewer posts per page. So it's more the lower posts per page/ads are the implementation of "taxes," and being free to post is still being huskerboard. I do think it hurts the quality of conversation though, things get missed when new pages are added so quickly.

Just for clothing -  and it says common words can only be trademarked if it's a "distinctive usage outside the traditional meaning." I don't think it's possible to use "the" in a way that fits that description, I seriously doubt this will work.

Would he even have fired Riley and Miles? Probably would've tried to promote Diaco if he was forced to fire Riley.

I didn't see any Husker fans seriously say we shouldn't have offered him. Fant was just a lot smarter than a lot of us fans at the time (myself included), and knew playing for Riley would've been a horrible decision. It wasn't a Bryson Williams situation, he just picked another team.

For the record, I did not think we would win either. Pleasant surprise though!

I'm surprised Coan isn't gone too - it was pretty clear the coaches are all in on Mertz when they burned Coan's redshirt to play a mediocre, disinterested Miami team in a low tier bowl game. Chryst could've suited back up at QB to win that game, they just don't want Coan (or anyone) on scholarship for the extra year.

No amount of training will take Martinez's arm into Mahomes territory. Not saying Martinez can't be a great NFL QB, that's just a big difference I see between the two.

I mean Tanner Lee might be the best QB the Jags have right now! But I'm sure they'll pick someone else up. Martinez doesn't have anywhere near Mahomes' arm, but I think he's got enough for the NFL to be a possibility. I'd say yes, but it's way too early for a lot of confidence.

Fair enough, I respect that. It kinda sucks to bail on your team when you get beat out, and a lot of coaches would want to keep an experienced backup - even a disgruntled one.

Wonder if Dabo is kicking himself for not waiting until after the next game to switch to Lawrence.
