So....what do you do if you don't know anything about the 2 or 3 people in a race?  Leave it blank?  Take a wild guess?

I had some time over lunch, so I whipped out my phone to check and see if the people going against them were establishment republicans or whackos. Both cases the people running against them seemed wayyyyy less crazy...so I voted against the crazies.

Well, I voted for Lindstrom.  I hope to hell whomever wins it's not Herbster.

First year voting in a republican primary. Also voted Lindstrom. When I was doing my Ballot research it was interesting to see multiple folks running on 2020 election being fraudulent. Jennifer Hicks is running for AG - my research indicates she's bat s#!t crazy, also not an attorney. Robert Borer is running for SOS, he's running on the fact the the incumbent didn't fight election fraud hard enough (in a state Trump won by 20 pts).

  3. I mean there's a 50/50 shot Frost is fired before Dylan graduates HS. He needs to hold a spot at OSU, Nebraska would take his commitment anytime between now and 2029...This was bound to happen.

This team can let a nice lead dribble down their leg faster than any team I have watched. Load the bases and can't score. Throw a ball over the first baseman's reach and two runs score. Get the go ahead run on third and can't get him home. 15 runners left on base.

They went from grittiest team in baseball to softer than baby s#!t in record time.

  5. Seems like both sides have motivation to leak this. D's to create outrage, R's to create focus on the leak, and not the decision. Also gotta love the 'DONT TAKE MA RIGHTS' crowd, out here trying to take away peoples rights. Looks like Alito is coming for gay marriage and what 2 consenting adults do in the bed room, next - but keep preaching about MA RIGHTS.

I get what you're saying, but it still co.es down to the big uglies up front.

Yeah, seems like everyone is too focused on paying the best guys (a game IDK if we can win), and focus on paying the right guys. I feel like you need a position coach who isn't gonna sit there and waste time going after a 5 star who is just gonna use Nebraska to get a fatter payday from Georgia, then need to scramble to fill a class. You need need a position coach (say OL) that identifies 3 dudes who are the right fit, and make sure he has the financial backing to go win every one of those recruiting battles against the Wisconsin, Iowa, Iowa St, Kstates of the world. You might end up paying almost as much as the SEC teams for your OL of all 3 stars, but at least you got the right guys.

  7. Wacky idea time, I know I'll get a few eyerolls. I'm not usually run the option guy, but I wonder if NIL could open a door to making option football a decent strategy. You could essentially buy the best players for your scheme and not be fishing in the same pond as Bama, Oklahoma, USC, Georgia...Offer your big check to a RB not a QB, pay the best Fullback - which would be a lock because no one else is paying a fullback, go pay the fast/athletic lineman, go offer 6 figures to the 4/5 star athlete to play option QB - when in the past he wouldn't because there in no money in being an option QB.

Again, a little out-there. Just seems like there could be a way to go buy the best players and not compete with the mega money/NFL factories because you're shopping with a different shopping list.

    I've been enlightened.

Gives me hope for the rest of the season tho. If our bats stay hot, our rag tag group of pitchers have shown that they can keep us in games, and we can at least make things fun/interesting.

Ya, this year was slower for the boys but it was more to do with lack of pitching experience not being able to control thing while the boys found their plate mojo.

Hard disagree. We've been in the bottom third of the B1G hitting and fielding all season. We've been top 4 in the B1G in ERA the entire season (We're the only team in the top 6 under .500 in conf/overall).

I honestly very seldom ever see something nasty or a fight on Twitter.

I use it to follow sports/political news. Just the tweets from the sources themselves are fine, the comments on tweets are an absolute cesspool.
