  1. Kool Aid drinkers are scrambling right now. Should call them the spin doctors as no matter how crappy the performance is by players or coaches, all is good.
  2. Air Mail Martinez..we had 3 incompletions last week and he can’t throw or run, kripes
  3. Hey even a broken clock in right twice a day. 2 bad teams at 11am on a cold and crappy day, sounds about right. NU come out ahead (somehow) in a 1 point game: 28-27
  4. But, you still feel compelled to call me out. Why do you keep reading them? For the record, there is not any hatred towards Scotty Frosty. His performance speaks for itself.
  5. What if we lose? No one would really be too surprised and we would get the same, boring post-game report from Scotty Frosty. If we play like last week, it could be a true reality that we very well could lose. Have not done squat on the road under this staff.
  6. He gets paid pretty damn nicely to trot out and speak every week. That is his job and why he gets paid to do it. I am sure there are many of us that have aspects of their jobs which they don't really care to do, but have to do them. Same with Scotty Frosty, can't have it be all unicorns and flowers. The whole Bill Snyder/Bill Belicheck thing gets old on who may or may not play. Hell, even at the stadium last week Adrian Martinez was named the starter on the video board prior to kick off......who is he foolin?
  7. I don't think Frost has a lot of say in it, honestly. If the last couple of years have shown, he needs some serious "buy in" from his guys to make things go forward, and that is harder than he thought.
  8. I think you hit it on the head. Anyone born in the last 20-25 years knows nothing about Nebraska being anything more than what they have seen. I know my own kids are not overly excited or thrilled to go to games, watch them on TV, or even care about them. They are in HS now and don't have that passion as they have never had anything to be passionate about. We are on the cusp of never being able to reach the apex again.
  9. What has stood out to me with both Devaney and Osborne, is they were both willing to look "outside the box" and try some things which were not too common during their eras. From going towards strength and conditioning, to nutrition, to sports psychology, to the types of systems they ran to even bringing in Prop 48 guys, they figured it out. They figured out you could win at Nebraska and do it consistently. I don't think too many people would not like to see that today, but you may need to think outside of the box to be different, to be unique, to be something that works here and be the best at it. I am not sure what edge we can get in this era, but the groundwork has been set in the past that it can be done here.
  10. Man, I had completely forgotten about that from Bozo.....cringing now with that memory surfacing again
  11. I used to feel much the same way. Season tickets now for going on 25 years. What I realized, life happens and it becomes harder and harder for me to put life aside to go and cheer the team on in person. I go to 4-5 a year now, but as life continues to happen, I see that decreasing to 2-3 a year going forward. I do enjoy going to volleyball and have had season tix since they moved to Devaney. It is a quicker game, with a lot of action and very talented athletes competing. It is also not a full day commitment, which is also a bonus as life continues to happen. Hit me up next season as I know I'll have tix to sell for football.
  12. Keep your tickets, even keep paying the donation. There are PLENTY of Kool-Aid drinkers out there, eating up what the media is spewing, drinking up what the coaches are spouting off about. They will gladly pay TOP DOLLAR for tickets. My guess, with a little leg work, you could turn over about a 50% profit. Key is, sell the tickets early in the season, hopefully before the first game even happens. That way, the con job is still running hot and the Kool-Aid drinkers are guzzling at a feverish pitch yet. You will get top $$$ then for the seats. My grandfather once told me.....there is a sucker born every minute son, just don't be one of them !
  13. No agendas, but also no blinders on either. #51 might be a player, but he was "off limits" to discussion, as per Frosty himself, with the media. That is true accountability. Say one thing, and do another.
  14. What do people want? More of what you are drinking....Oh Yeah !
  15. Fixed or better? Yeah, there were still a few snaps rolling on the ground at the QB's feet Saturday, one Vedral did a great job to turn it into a decent play. Saying you are the "best" lineman at Nebraska does not hold much weight in the CFB discussions taking place. Im the best ice hockey player in Barbados......
  16. Hold guys accountable? Like #51 who spent the better part of this season snapping the ball to kingdom come and back...yeah, Scotty held him accountable alright !
  17. Maybe instead of chucking guys under the bus every press conference, maybe...just maybe.....he could point the thumb back at himself and his staff and how they are getting schooled week in and week out. That would be refreshing and that is more reflective of a true leader. Pass the popcorn
  18. Remember the Titans.......team attitude is directly related to leadership. Maybe Scotty Frosty needs to re-watch with his coaches. https://youtu.be/iCxEAzvQqnY
  19. A). That really makes me question our results and B) why is it not widely done?
  20. One of many issues, not THE issue. Ok Mr. Kool-Aid, how many of the top programs practice at 6am? I remember college and how much attention to details I was aware of at that time of the day. As bad as we are, a full review is needed.
  21. At this point, who is a Scotty Frosty fan? Unless you like big, fat eggs
  22. Obviously, the whole mornings practice thing is not working either. Again, force feeding a square peg into a round hole. Why not have normal afternoon practices and maybe attention to detail will be there. If this is carrying over to Gameday walk through, maybe that is on the coach? Stubborn Scotty Frosty at his best
  23. You are assuming that I was hoping/wanting Martinez to stay at the helm until then. We had the best QB play of the season Saturday, even with the same crappy team surrounding them. Neither had the deer in the headlights look and were gamers. Refreshing to finally see
  24. We saw our future at QB vs Indiana and it was not Adrian.
